Delegates participating in the Forum.
The Forum attracted the participation of more than 140 women officials and Women’s Union members in the district and 50 students of Binh Yen Secondary School.
At the forum, delegates heard Master Nguyen Van Thanh – Lecturer of the Vietnam Women’s Academy sharing some information about the situation of violence and abuse of children nationwide and in the capital; provide basic knowledge about child care, protection and education skills. Through the form of question and answer and exchange, Master Nguyen Van Thanh helped delegates to better understand issues: The definition of child abuse and violence; forms of child abuse and violence, how to prevent and deal with violence and abuse, etc. Participating in the Forum, students not only get answers to questions about child abuse and violence but also express their views in the realization of children’s rights, aspirations to respect their personal opinions, to live with love from their family and care of the school where they are studying.
The forum helps students improve their understanding and skills to prevent and deal with issues of violence and abuse; is an opportunity for committees, authorities, parents to listen to the opinions and aspirations of children to perform well in education, child protection and care.

On this occasion, the Women’s Union of Thach That district gave 20 gifts, each worth VND 550,000 to students with difficult circumstances to overcome difficulties and study well in the district. Women’s Union of Binh Yen commune gave 10 gifts to students with difficult circumstances who overcome difficulties and study well in Binh Yen commune.
