The exhibition consists of 3 parts, namely Historical memories, Ngoc Island milestones, and Forever with time. The images show the development process of the relic from the feudal period to the present through historical documents, Han Nom writing, emphasized with historical stories and myths associated with the relic.
On the morning of December 28, 2023, at the Special National Relic of Ngoc Son Temple in Hoan Kiem District, the Relic and Beauty Spot Management Board (under Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports) organized the opening ceremony of the thematic exhibition “Some images of special national historical relics – beauty spots of Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple”.

Attending the opening ceremony of the thematic exhibition were delegates: Professor of History Le Van Lan; Dr. Nguyen Viet Chuc, the Vice Chairman of the Cultural and Social Advisory Board – Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee; Mr. Do Dinh Hong, the Member of Party Committee cum the Director of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports; Mr. Pham Xuan Tai, the Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports; Representatives of Hanoi Party Committee, Representative of leaders of Hoan Kiem district, Ly Thai To ward; Representatives of leaders of heritage departments and divisions under Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports.

“For tourists as well as residents, Hanoi appears quiet, ancient but sparkling and fabulous, imbued with the Vietnamese soul, featured by the blue Hoan Kiem Lake with the Turtle Tower silhouetted against the sky, and the red The Huc bridge leading to Ngoc island. Special National Relic of Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake has a harmonious and proportionate architectural complex, arranged with artificial structures in the natural landscape. It is one of 14 relics recognized by the Prime Minister as special national relics in 2013 under the Decision No. 2383/QD/TTG dated September 09, 2013. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of being recognized as special National Relic, Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports assigned the Relic and Beauty Sport Management Board to take the prime responsibilities for organizing thematic exhibition to introduce some images of relic through the ages” – said Mr. Do Dinh Hong, the Member of Party Committee cum the Director of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports.

Through images and documents about the Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple, visitors may have an overview of the relic from ancient times to the present, thereby understanding more and loving Hanoi capital in general and relics in particular, especially special national relic of Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple.
