On December 19, at the National Museum of History, the opening ceremony of the thematic exhibition called “The Red Seeds” took place to commemorate the 65th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s work “Revolutionary Ethics” (December 1958 – December 2023) and in honor of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2024).
Delegates cut the ribbon to open the exhibition.
The exhibition was organized by the National Museum of History in collaboration with the Archives Department of the Party Central Committee Office. The exhibition features more than 100 precious documents, artifacts, and images (currently kept at the National Museum of History, the Archives Department of the Party Central Committee Office, and the Museum of Revolutionary Soldiers Captured and Imprisoned by the Enemy) about President Ho Chi Minh, about the first cadres nurtured, cultivated, trained by Uncle Ho and revolutionary soldiers fighting in colonial and imperialist prisons. It is shown in 2 parts:
Part 1 – The Cultivator of Red Seeds introduces the role of leader Nguyen Ai Quoc in training and cultivating red seeds for the Vietnamese revolution through the work Duong Kach Menh (Revolutionary Path – The National Treasure); political training courses in Guangzhou (China); images, documents, artifacts and stories about the first generation of Vietnamese revolutionary cadres.
Part 2: The Communist Willpower displays documents, artifacts, and images about the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam on February 3, 1930, associated with the role of leader Nguyen Ai Quoc and the first “red seeds” – his excellent trainees; displays memorabilia, works, political documents, famous quotes and sayings of revolutionary soldiers in colonial and imperialist prisons. In the prisons, despite suffering from extremely harsh detention conditions and being brutally tortured, with the slogan “Turn prison into a revolutionary school”, party members secretly established a Party Cell. Party officers exchanged and compiled political theoretical documents, organized cultural and theoretical courses, and cultivated Marxism-Leninism… making an important contribution to the further cause of the struggle for national independence.
Through real stories, people, and vivid events in history, the National Museum of History hopes that the public, especially the young, will have a deeper understanding of the great contributions of his father’s generation in the struggle for national liberation, contributing to awakening patriotism, national pride, determination to study, practice, and contribute to the cause of national defense, construction, and development.
The exhibition will be open until March 2024.
