The Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee, Nguyen Van Phong; Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, Nguyen Lan Huong; and Vice Chairman of Hanoi City People’s Committee, Ha Minh Hai, attended the Hanoi Concert – Doai Melody program.
The program took place on the evening of October 19, 2024, at the Son Tay Old Quarter Walking Street. This was a carefully prepared program with high artistic quality. It featured opera excerpts and several valuable works of Vietnamese music.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of the Doai region, the audience was treated to the essence of Vietnamese music, stories of the land of Two Kings, and Hanoi, through works such as: Son Tay Ancient Citadel, Wind Blows in All Directions, Hometown, Blue Sky of Hanoi … performed by artists: Meritorious Artist Lan Anh, Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi; singers: Tuan Anh, Dinh Trang, Bao Yen; conductor Honna Tetsuji; and the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra.
The “Hanoi Concert – Doai Melody” night attracted thousands of audiences from Son Tay Town and beyond.
Through this Program, the organizers aimed to honor the beauty of Vietnamese culture, the land of Son Tay, and Hanoi Capital, while contributing to the development of the Cultural industry in the Capital.
