<\/p>\nImplementing the Wrap-up Plan for 5 – year execution of the Capital Law and its detailed provisions pursuant to the Decision No. 1298\/QDD-UBND dated 15 March, 2108 of Ha Noi People\u2019s Committee, the working group for its wrap-up co-chaired by Ha Noi Department of Culture and Sports and the Department of Justice have organized a discussion meeting on implementation of the policies on cultural conservation and development according to the Article 11 of the Capital Law.<\/p>\n

Aiming at well implementing the Article 11 in the Capital Law on \u201ccultural conservation and development\u201d, Ha Noi Department of Culture and Sports has counselled Ha Noi People\u2019s Committee to issue the directives of the Capital Law\u2019s execution. Facts show that a number of symbolic relics as Ngoc Son temple \u2013 Hoan Kiem lake, Hai Ba Trung relic complex, cultural temple of Van Mieu \u2013 Quoc Tu Giam, Thang Long Imperial citadel, Ha Noi old quarters,.. have done good jobs in the management and conservation, and become the charming attractions\u00a0 both for domestic as well as international tourists, hence making positive contribution to the socio-economic development and promotion of the Capital as a thousand years of culture, peace and friendshipworldwide.<\/p>\n

At present, there are still remaining many downgraded relics with no investment for renovation and embellishment yet; intangible heritages, especially traditional crafts are dwindling; the interrelationship between conservation and development of culture has not been harmonized. Therefore, it badly needs more funding to conservation and promotion of prominent intangible and tangible cultural heritage values of Ha Noi by encouraging investments, mobilizing voluntary donations from organizations, individuals in this process.<\/p>\n
