The program aims to create a strong change in the sense of respect and compliance with the law of related subjects in the field of consumer right protection (NTD); orient and promote respect for consumer rights of production and trading enterprises; build a healthy consumer culture and awareness of the customers\u2019 self-protection upon participating in transactions, buying and selling goods and services; and enhance the responsibilities of state management agencies and related social organizations in the field of consumer rights protection.<\/p>\n
After the Meeting, the “Enterprises appreciate consumers” week will take place from March 17 to March 22 in 70 points-of-sale in Hanoi. The event is a bridge between enterprises and consumers via offering promotions such as gifts, discounts, warranty support and product maintenance. The week expresses businesses\u2019 gratitude to consumers and upholds enterprises\u2019 sense of respect for consumers’ rights.<\/p>\n
Moreover, from April 19 to April 23, the event of “Product and goods festival for consumers” will be held with the participation of 50 stalls at Big C Thang Long supermarket in Cau Giay district, Hanoi.<\/p>\n
In addition, \u201cVietnam consumer rights day 2019\u201d in Hanoi City also focuses on promoting dissemination of legal knowledge to a large number of consumers in the capital, especially high-school students \u2013 the would-be consumers who are gradually acquiring consumption right consciousness in shopping activities.<\/p>\n
In March and April 2019, the Organizer will carry out a Talk show on improving the enterprises\u2019 awareness in production and business activities to ensure the consumers\u2019 legitimate rights on Channel 1 \u2013 Hanoi Broadcast & Television. There are 3 training sessions to propagandize Law on Consumer Rights Protection in the High School of the City with participation of the representatives of the Department of Competition and Consumer Protection, the representatives of the Department of Industry and Trade; Hotline 024.1081 and enterprises.<\/p>\n
The highlight of organizing the propaganda activities is that the Organizer will refresh and enhance the practicality in the propaganda content through game shows and situation questions to help the consumers easily grasp and apply in reality life.<\/p>\n
\u201cVietnam consumer rights day\u201d is held annually in Hanoi City to affirm the role, position and importance of protecting consumers’ rights to the society and the economy\u2019s stable and sustainable development.<\/p>\n
