According to Decision No. 1968\/QD-BVHTTDL on approving the Overall Plan for preparation and organization of the 31st<\/sup> SEA Games and 11th<\/sup> ASEAN Para Games 2021 in Vietnam, Hanoi is the main venue for the SEA Games as well as the Para Games. In addition, several other localities to co-host the 31st<\/sup> SEA Games are Bac Ninh province, Hai Duong province, Hai Phong city, Quang Ninh province, Ha Nam province, Nam Dinh province, Ninh Binh province, Hoa Binh province, Vinh Phuc province and Bac Giang province.<\/p>\n

As part of the Organizing Committee’s plan to inspect the preparation of facilities and work with localities on the preparations for the 31st<\/sup> SEA Games including Hanoi city (the main venue for the SEA Games), recently the delegation of the Vietnam Sports Administration (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) led by Mr. Vu Thai Hong, Deputy Director of II High-Performance Sports Department, inspected the preparation for the 31st<\/sup> SEA Games 2021 in Hoang Mai district and Thanh Tri district.<\/p>\n

In the list of venues expected to host the 31st<\/sup> SEA Games, the Hoang Mai Sports Stadium is the host unit for the Sepak Takraw. At the meeting, the delegation examined and evaluated the facilities associated with the construction, facilities to organize the competition, and equipment for the competition, including playing field, meeting room, operating room, medical room, security room…<\/p>\n

Along with that, Hoang Mai Sports Stadium will carefully prepare 3 courts for Sepak Takraw, air conditioning system, internet, etc. the inauguration reception, 13 flagpoles, logo and agreed to complete all work before June 2021.<\/p>\n

Also according to the list of expected places to hold the 31st<\/sup> SEA Games, Thanh Tri district Sports Stadium is the venue for the basketball in the 31st<\/sup> SEA Games. Currently, the Center is undergoing repair of the sports stadium, swimming pool, administrative house, renovation of gate, fence, guard house, yard, etc. with a total budget of more than VND 27 billion. So far, the functional departments at the Center have guaranteed the requirements. And as expected, the repair and renovation work will be completed in May 2021.<\/p>\n
