Organization of a Reading Festival to improve the reading culture for the young generation<\/em><\/p>\nDirective No. 46-CT\/TW of the Secretariat (Session X) states: In recent years, in our country, culture has developed in many aspects, better meeting the need for a healthy and diversified spirit of the people, actively contributing to the renovation, construction and defense of the Fatherland. The traditional cultural values of the nation have been preserved and promoted, new values are being formed and developed. Cultural cooperation with foreign countries has been increasingly expanded, many valuable cultural products of the world have been absorbed, contributing to enriching the cultural life of our people.<\/p>\n
However, over the past time, many external toxic cultural products have entered our country through many ways, affecting very badly to the ideology, morality, lifestyle, psychology and behavior of a part of people, especially young people; destroying and undermining the foundation and good moral values of the nation. Pragmatic lifestyle, self-interest, selfishness, enjoy pleasure, depravity; the evil, the inhumanity showed signs of a marked increase. A healthy ethical and cultural environment is seriously threatened, with the risk of leading to a mental crisis, disorientation of the values, lifestyle and beliefs of a part of the public.<\/p>\n
To implement the goal of building a culture that is the spiritual foundation of the society, building personality, morality and lifestyle of Vietnamese people in the period of industrialization, modernization, international integration and protection and promotion of the good ethical values \u200b\u200bof the nation, create a healthy social environment, contribute to the successful implementation of the renovation, build and protect the Vietnam Fatherland, the Secretariat requested Party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front and mass organizations at all levels to strengthen leadership, management, and actively participate in the fight against the intrusion of harmful cultural products destroying social ethics aimed at: creating a broad movement of the masses, preventing and repelling the intrusion and negative impacts of harmful cultural products from outside into our country. To build up and raise the vigilance awareness, awareness and elimination capacity of cadres, party members and people against the intrusion and impact of harmful cultural products.<\/p>\n
Besides, creating a nice, clean and diverse living environment; creating many valuable works of thought and art, and at the same time receiving selectively the cultural values of the world to meet the rich cultural needs of the people.<\/p>\n
The 10-year review of the implementation of Directive No. 46-CT\/TW associated with the evaluation of the implementation results of the Notice of Conclusion No. 213-TB\/TW, dated January 2, 2009, of the Secretariat on the fight against officials wrong points in the literature, art, resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Party on culture, literature and art; Directive No. 42-CT\/TW, dated March 24, 2015, of the Secretariat on enhancing the Party\u2019s leadership in the education of revolutionary ideals, ethics, cultural lifestyles for the young generation in the 2015-2030 period; The movement \u201cAll people unite to build a cultural life\u201d… and resolutions, action plans of localities and units.<\/p>\n
The 10-year review of the implementation of Directive No. 46-CT\/TW is implemented from the grassroots level, led and chaired by the party committee. The affiliated units and grassroots level conduct the review, build and complete the report to ensure progress (affiliated units complete the report before May 30, 2020; completion time at grassroots is decided by the direct superior). City level: Organization of a summary conference (can be integrated with other contents) to ensure progress, complete and send reports before 20\/6\/2020.<\/p>\n
