<\/p>\nOn May 6, the Steering Committee of the Program No. 04-CTr\/TU of Hanoi City Party Committee issued Report No. 116-BC\/BC\u0110 on the results of the implementation of Program No. 04-CTr\/TU dated April 26, 2016, of the City Party Committee and Plan No. 165\/KH-UBND dated August 31, 2016, of the City People\u2019s Committee on \u201cSocio-cultural development, improvement of the quality of human resources of the Capital, building elegant and civilized Hanoi people\u201d for quarter I, and directions and tasks for the second quarter of 2020.<\/p>\n
According to the Steering Committee\u2019s assessment, in the first quarter of 2020, the direction and administration of the above tasks were implemented proactively, drastically, closely following reality, thereby creating a clear change in the socio-cultural sector of the city. Activities of culture, arts, sports are organized in a safe, economical and effective manner, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere among the people of the capital. The work of ensuring social security was promptly and effectively organized\u2026<\/p>\n
The process of implementing science and technology tasks in the city continues to receive active coordination from agencies and organizations, thereby promoting potentials and improving the efficiency of scientific and technological activities. The city has also promptly renewed teaching methods, focused on the comprehensive development of the quality and capacity of learners, education of life skills for students; promoted the application of information technology in management and teaching. In particular, the prevention and control of COVID-19 pandemic has been seriously implemented, all necessary measures have been actively implemented, up to now, the pandemic has been basically controlled.<\/p>\n
Promoting the achieved results, in the second quarter, the Party Committee\u2019s Program Steering Committee 04-CTr\/TU will continue to perform key tasks. In particular, the Steering Committee requires departments, branches, districts, towns focus on building implementation plans based on the assigned contents and tasks; at the same time, review the performance of tasks, schemes and projects, summarize difficulties and problems and report to competent authorities for consideration and settlement.<\/p>\n
