Accordingly, Hanoi has basically put the pandemic under control as the number of local infections went down. The municipal authorities have revised measures to combat COVID-19, ensure social welfare and expand business and production.<\/p>\n

Under the directive, Hanoi removes the current color designation and travel permits, while enhancing the application of information technology in the city\u2019s COVID-19 fight.<\/p>\n

The city continues keeping operation of 22 COVID-19 checkpoints at the city\u2019s gateways and 33 other checkpoints at the main routes to neighboring localities to control all people entering\/leaving the city.<\/p>\n

The municipal authorities requested the Ministry of Transport to keep stopping\u00a0 all domestic commercial flights arriving at Noi Bai International Airport as well as railway services transporting passengers to Hanoi.<\/p>\n

Sport, cultural and entertainment activities at public areas and business establishments and religious gatherings and celebrations are still banned.<\/p>\n

Public agencies are requested to allow 50% of their workforces to work from home or in shifts.<\/p>\n

The city allowed the organization of conferences with the maximum number of participants not exceeding 20 people in a meeting room. Meanwhile, gathering of 10 people outside offices, schools and hospitals are prohibited.<\/p>\n

Safe distance of at least two meters is mandatory in public places.<\/p>\n

The municipal authorities allowed the reopening of some services in the city from 6am on September 21.<\/p>\n

Restaurants and food and drink establishments are permitted to reopen only for selling takout food and home delivery\u00a0 and must close before 9pm every day.<\/p>\n

The city also allowed the resumption of other services, such as stores providing essential goods and services traditional markets, shopping centers, stores for stationery, textbooks, and other learning equipment, repair shops for mechanics, electronics, home appliances, and\u00a0 hairdressing salons.<\/p>\n

The establishments must fully implement pandemic prevention measures, including mandatory 5K: kh\u1ea9u trang (face mask), kh\u1eed khu\u1ea9n (disinfection), kho\u1ea3ng c\u00e1ch (distance), kh\u00f4ng t\u1ee5 t\u1eadp (no gathering), and khai b\u00e1o y t\u1ebf (health declaration) , while asking their consumers to scan QR codes to register their visit.<\/p>\n

Motorbike delivery services, including those using ride-hailing apps will continue to operate from 9am to 10pm but shippers must be vaccinated with at least one dose, make daily health declarations and strictly observe COVID-19 prevention and control regulations.<\/p>\n

Local people are required to fully follow the 5K message, make online health declaration at www.tokhaiyte.vn or mobile apps Ncovi, Bluezone. Those with symptoms of high body temperature, cough, lack of smell or taste must contact with the nearest medical centers for guidance.<\/p>\n

The city also called on the locals to join hands with the municipal government to repel the pandemic.<\/p>\n
