People\u2019s Artist Trung Hieu (birth name, Nguyen Trung Hieu), born in 1973, in Thai Binh (the son of famous photographer, Trong Phao). He is currently the Director of the Hanoi Drama Theater.<\/span><\/p>\n

People\u2019s Artist Trung Hieu started his acting career in 1992. He is known as a stage artist, film and television actor, drama director, voice actor, with excellent acting ability in both protagonist and antagonist. On the theater stage, Trung Hieu was successful in such roles as: Tran Binh in the play <\/span>V\u00f2ng \u0111\u1eddi<\/span><\/i>, Tong Thoai in <\/span>C\u00e1t b\u1ee5i<\/span><\/i>, Phiet in the play <\/span>Nh\u1eefng m\u1eb7t ng\u01b0\u1eddi th\u1ea5p tho\u00e1ng<\/span><\/i>, Ly Thuong Kiet in the <\/span>T\u00ecnh s\u1eed ng\u00e0n n\u0103m<\/span><\/i>, Deputy Director named Chinh in the play <\/span>T\u00f4i v\u00e0 ch\u00fang ta<\/span><\/i>, Saigon Nam in the play <\/span>B\u1ec9 v\u1ecf<\/span><\/i>, etc. In cinema, People\u2019s Artist Trung Hieu also made many impressions in the films: <\/span>Hoa Ban \u0111\u1ecf, Duy\u00ean\u00a0 nghi\u1ec7p, 1 gi\u1edd l\u00e0m quan, Thi\u1ebfu ph\u1ee5 ch\u01b0a ch\u1ed3ng, <\/span><\/i>Gi\u1ea3i h\u1ea1n<\/span><\/i><\/a>, <\/span><\/i>H\u00e0 N\u1ed9i 12 ng\u00e0y \u0111\u00eam<\/span><\/i><\/a>… On television, People\u2019s Artist Trung Hieu has participated in quite a few movies: <\/span>L\u1eadp nghi\u1ec7p, C\u00e2y b\u1ea1ch \u0111\u00e0n v\u00f4 danh, <\/span><\/i>S\u1ed1ng m\u00e3i v\u1edbi Th\u1ee7 \u0111\u00f4<\/span><\/i><\/a>, <\/span><\/i>\u0110\u01b0\u1eddng \u0111\u1eddi<\/span><\/i><\/a>, <\/span><\/i>C\u1ea3nh s\u00e1t h\u00ecnh s\u1ef1<\/span><\/i><\/a> (M\u1eb7t n\u1ea1 ho\u00e0n h\u1ea3o), <\/span><\/i>Cu\u1ed3ng phong<\/span><\/i><\/a>, <\/span><\/i>V\u1ec7t n\u1eafng cu\u1ed1i tr\u1eddi<\/span><\/i><\/a>, Heo may v\u1ec1 qua ph\u1ed1, Quan tr\u01b0\u1eddng tr\u01b0\u1eddng quan, Ng\u00e0y mai b\u00ecnh y\u00ean, etc. <\/span><\/i>He has won many art awards such as: \u201cBest Actor\u201d award at the 16th Vietnam Film Festival, with the role of Cao in the movie <\/span>M\u01b0\u1eddi ba b\u1ebfn n\u01b0\u1edbc<\/span><\/i>; the role of Ly Thuong Kiet in the play <\/span>T\u00ecnh s\u1eed ng\u00e0n n\u0103m<\/span><\/i>; \u201cExcellent Actor\u201d award for the role of Phiet in the play <\/span>Nh\u1eefng m\u1eb7t ng\u01b0\u1eddi th\u1ea5p tho\u00e1ng<\/span><\/i>; Gold medals for the roles: Tong Thoai in <\/span>C\u00e1t b\u1ee5i<\/span><\/i>, Tran Binh in <\/span>V\u00f2ng \u0111\u1eddi<\/span><\/i>, Saigon Nam in <\/span>B\u1ec9 v\u1ecf<\/span><\/i>, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

Whether on stage, in movies or TV series, People\u2019s Artist Trung Hieu leaves his own mark by his simple, unpretentious acting style and always focuses on deepening the character\u2019s inner feelings. Therefore, the name Trung Hieu has become a brand name, a bright face of an actor. When watching him act on stage or in the studio, the audience feels excited. He has been awarded the title of People\u2019s Artist by the State authority since 2015 – is one of the youngest People\u2019s Artists in Vietnam to this day.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the artist\u2019s life, with nearly 30 years in the profession, Trung Hieu has many memories. The biggest memory is when he took part in the role of the Year of Saigon, or when he acted Khang in the movie <\/span>Duong doi<\/span><\/i>, most recently the role of a father named Phat in the movie <\/span>Ngay mai binh yen<\/span><\/i> shown on VTV3 from August 12, 2021, on Thursday and Friday evenings, his name is imprinted in the hearts of the audience. Especially the fact that he and his actors in <\/span>Ngay mai binh yen<\/span><\/i> contributed to the propaganda about the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to his successful acting, People\u2019s Artist Trung Hieu is also successful as a director\u2026Many plays directed by himself have won medals at national professional theater competitions and festivals. Despite being busy with the role of Director – Secretary of the Hanoi Drama Theater, busy filming and acting, People\u2019s Artist Trung Hieu also participates in many other activities such as: Being a judge of many competitions, passionate about calligraphy, art, music, etc.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In the role of Director of the Hanoi Drama Theater, he and the Board of Directors of the Theater have turned their unit into the top theater of the Vietnamese theater. In the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Theater has mobilized resources to support the lives of artists, especially the organization of the <\/span>Hanoi Drama Contest – Singing over COVID-19<\/span><\/i> to raise funds for the support of difficult artists. In addition, the theater also deducts a part of the fund to send to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Hanoi city to support disadvantaged people during the COVID-19 pandemic. Hanoi Drama Theater has been praised as one of Hanoi\u2019s typical units in the prevention and control of COVID-19. After days of implementing social distancing in the spirit of Directive No. 16 by the Prime Minister, People\u2019s Artist Trung Hieu and actors of the Hanoi Drama Theater are currently rehearsing a new play to attend the National Theater Festival in 2021, performing for the country\u2019s political events, the Capital and the Lunar New Year in 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n
