Accordingly, the Festival is expected to be held from November 1 to November 18, 2021.<\/p>\n

The plan clearly states: The Great National Solidarity Festival 2021 to be held in residential communities must be solemn, joyful, safe and practical in appropriate forms, depending on the pandemic situation of each locality; strictly comply with regulations on the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic; promote the self-governing role of the residential community; creating a competitive atmosphere, promoting the effective implementation of tasks of the locality and Hanoi city.<\/p>\n

For the city level, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city shall assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with the City People\u2019s Committee in, formulating plans and deploying them to branches, mass organizations, districts, towns throughout the country. The member organizations of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city shall guide the affiliated organizations and units to coordinate with the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the same level in organizing the Festival; plan and coordinate to give gifts and encourage disadvantaged localities and households on the occasion of the festival.<\/p>\n

For the district level, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the district level shall coordinate with the People\u2019s Committee of the same level in formulating specific plans for implementation; at the same time, advise the Party Committee to lead the organization of the Great National Unity Festival in the locality; guide the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at the commune level and the Front Working Committee in the residential areas to develop a scenario for organizing the festival suitable to the local situation; closely coordinate with the authorities, functional sectors, member organizations to direct and well implement the contents of organizing the Festival, ensuring the pandemic prevention and control.<\/p>\n

The joint organization of the Great National Solidarity Festival 2021 is an event to further strengthen the coordination between the government and the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, promote the strength of the great national unity bloc, encourage the people to overcome difficulties and challenges, and join hands with the authorities at all levels to repel the Covid-19 pandemic; participate in the performance of political, socio-economic tasks, and ensure national defense and security in the locality and grassroots; practically celebrate the 91st anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front\u2019s Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 – November 18, 2021). At the same time, propagandize and mobilize to raise awareness of all classes of people about the guidelines and lines of the Party, policies and laws of the State; the role of strength in national unity in the period of national renewal; glorious history and great contribution of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the cause of national independence, national reunification, construction and defense of the Vietnamese Fatherland; on the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in the current period.<\/p>\n
