In Hat Mon, all wide, tree-lined roads are named, such as Song Hat, Trung Trac, Trung Nhi, Van Chi etc to recall the heroic tradition of the homeland, where the temple of Hai Ba Trung is located. Up to now, Hat Mon commune has built 7 blooming roads including Muong Hoang Yen flower road leading to Van Chi area; Muong Hoang Yen flower road from Hat Mon Commune People\u2019s Committee to Thanh Da Commune; Climbing rose flower road from H8 bridge to Noi bridge etc. Each road lasts from a few hundred meters to more than 3km long, filled with seasonal flowers.<\/p>\n

The movement of planting flowers and trees is regularly deployed by Hat Mon commune instead of just planting trees every Tet holiday. Just like that, every year, Hat Mon has at least one more tree-flower-themed road, people give priority to choosing trees that both give shade and bloom beautifully to plant, thereby creating many green roads. Also, because of the homogenous planting of a type of flower, each road creates its own poetic space.<\/p>\n

To get the poetic spaces like today is a process with a lot of efforts of the government and local people. Previously, due to the low awareness of a part of the people, there was still a situation of indiscriminately dumping waste on village roads and alleys, not to mention that the commune had a carpentry profession, so many households often let production materials encroach on the roads. Overcoming these shortcomings, the Party Committee of Hat Mon commune has thoroughly grasped all branches and residential clusters, actively implemented environmental protection movements. Since then, the living space of people in the area has improved considerably, and the community\u2019s awareness of environmental protection has also been enhanced.<\/p>\n

Hat Mon commune is striving to meet the newly enhanced rural commune standard in 2021. Therefore, in addition to focusing on socio-economic development and upgrading infrastructure works, the highlight of the newly enhanced countryside is the bright, green, clean, beautiful, safe countryside. Stemming from that goal, in recent years, Hat Mon has promoted the movement of planting flowers and trees, building a cultural lifestyle, and preserving environmental hygiene in each village.<\/p>\n

Planting flowers and trees in Hat Mon has become a movement of the entire people with funds mobilized from socialization sources. For example, the pink lotus road leading to Van Chi area was formed thanks to the contribution of VND 200 million by local officials, people and enterprises. In order to keep the roads green, clean, and beautiful, the village women\u2019s members are assigned to regularly prune, take care of trees and flowers, and clean alleys.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It can be said that, with the participation of the whole community, the space of Hat Mon village has changed day by day. At present, the commune signs a contract with an environmental company to collect domestic waste for each residential cluster; at the same time, require carpentry production households to sign a separate contract with a unit that collects and treats craft village waste.
