Participants in the meeting<\/em><\/p>\n The \u201cGood people, good deeds<\/em>\u201d movement is a central and important movement of emulation and reward work, a driving force to encourage and motivate officials, civil servants, public employees and employees to actively responds to the city\u2019s patriotic emulation, and cultural tradition movements in association with performing the sector\u2019s political tasks, practicing thrift against corruption and waste. Along with movement and linking with implementation of \u201cStudy and follow Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and style<\/em>\u201d, the emulation movement on \u201cOfficials, civil servants, public employees and employees emulate the implementation of office culture in public places<\/em>\u201d with the writing contest on advanced examples of \u201cGood people, good deeds\u201d and other emulation movements of the sector have created an exciting and widespread competitive atmosphere throughout the sector.<\/p>\n Mr. Dao Vuong Long, DOSC\u2019s Chief of the Secretariat reported the results of the “Good people and good deeds” emulation movement in 2022 <\/em><\/p>\n In 2022, as the standing agency of the Program 06-CTr\/TU dated March 17, 2021 of the Hanoi\u2019s Party Committee on \u201cDeveloping culture, improving quality of human resources, building young elegant and civilized Hanoians in 2021 \u2013 2025\u201d, the Department has, so far, advised 11\/20 items; implemented Resolution No. 15-NQ\/TW dated May 5, 2022 of the Politburo on development of Hanoi Capital during 2021-2030, with a vision to 2045; developed an implementation plan and promptly advised the Hanoi People\u2019s Committee to include important contents on Hanoi\u2019s cultural development into the implementation plan of Resolution 09-\/NQ\/TU of the Hanoi\u2019s Party Committee. In addition, the contents of the City\u2019s work programs are being consulted and implemented to ensure progress and quality as directed.<\/p>\n DOSC has advised the Hanoi People\u2019s Committee to issue a plan to organize implementation of the emulation movement on \u201cOfficials, civil servants, public employees and employees of Hanoi\u2019s Culture and Sports sector emulate the implementation of office culture in public places\u201d<\/em>, and various plans and documents directing the departments and units to implement 02 Codes of conduct of Hanoi in association with promoting \u201cStudy and follow Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and style\u201d and the \u201cGood people, good deeds\u201d emulation movement; actively carried out a writing contest about good examples in implementing the code of conduct of officials, public servants, public employees and employees. As a result, through the writing contest, the Department introduced a good example in implementing the code of conduct and was rewarded by the Hanoi People\u2019s Committee. DOSC has proposed the Hanoi People’s Committee to award Certificates of Merit to 47 collectives and 32 individuals who have made achievements in implementing the emulation movement on Officials, civil servants, public employees and employees emulate the implementation of office culture in public places<\/em>\u201d in 2019 – 2025 in Hanoi city.<\/p>\n The emulation movement is regularly promoted and associated with implementation of \u201cStudy and follow Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and style\u201d according to Directives No. 03\/CT\/TW dated May 14, 2011 and. 05-CT\/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo. After more than 10 years of implementing these 02 Directives, with regular and close direction of the Party Committee, the DOSC\u2019s Board of Directors, active participation of officials, party members, employees, the \u201cStudy and follow Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and style\u201d has achieved encouraging results, creating a strong and profound change in consciousness of cultivating, training and improving revolutionary morality of each official, party member, and fight against corruption, negative acts in building a clean and strong Party, contributing to successful implementation of assigned political tasks.<\/p>\n In propagandizing, discovering, fostering, summarizing and replicating good examples, DOSC has timely directed the commendation, recognition and honoring of good examples, good and effective practices in the patriotic emulation movement of collectives and individuals, good examples in all fields of the sector, in order to propagate and replicate good examples, motiving officials, civil servants, public employees and employees to successfully perform their assigned political tasks.<\/p>\n Responding to the writing contest about good examples, good people and good deeds launched by the City from 2014 up to now, the Culture and Sports sector of Hanoi has actively participated in. Up to now, the contest has been spread widely throughout the sector, many very simple, everyday but very humane examples are bright examples, beautiful flowers in the garden of thousands of good deeds of the Culture and Sports sector, worthy for each of us to learn and follow.<\/p>\n However, besides the achievements, the emulation movement still has some limitations such as: certain units have implemented the \u201cGood people, good deeds\u201d emulation movement and writing contest about good examples of \u201cGood people, good deed\u201d just in form, quality of their articles is not high, leading to failure to get the desired effect; The number of articles for the writing contest about good examples of \u201cGood people, good deeds\u201d is still limited.<\/p>\n In order to promote the achievements, overcome the limitations, in 2023, the Culture and Sports sector will focus on directing the implementation of the \u201cGood people, good deeds\u201d emulation movement and the writing contest about good examples of \u201cGood people, good deeds\u201d, with a focus on implementing a number of solutions such as: further promoting the dissemination and propaganda of the emulation movement and the contest in the patriotic emulation movement to raise awareness of the Party committees and authorities from the Department to the units about their important roles and positions in the new period; further promoting the close coordination among the government and the Party and Trade Union organizations, creating synergy, solidarity and unity in the implementation of the emulation movement, contributing to successful implementation of the sector\u2019s political tasks; further promoting the \u201cStudy and follow Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and style\u201d in association with the \u201cGood people, good deeds\u201d emulation movement and the writing contest about the good examples \u00a0of \u201cGood people, good deeds\u201d. Opening the \u201cGood people, good deeds\u201d” section on DOSC\u2019s website; promptly commending, and proposing to the Hanoi People’s Committee, DOSC\u2019s Director to reward typical good examples of \u201cgood people, good deeds\u201d discovered through patriotic emulation movements and writing contests, in order to propagate and duplicate the good examples, making it happen nationwide.<\/p>\n Participants in the meetings also join an exchange program and discussed various practical contents such as: the movement \u201cAll people unite to build a cultural life\u201d – a fundamental factor in building and developing the cultural life at grassroots level; Promoting the \u201ctradition of \u201cwhen drinking water, think of its source\u201d, showing gratitude to former politicians of Hoa Lo Prison; Effectiveness from renewing the propaganda about the \u201cGood people and good deeds\u201d movement, etc.<\/p>\n Ms. Tran Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the Emulation and Reward Committee of Hanoi city spoke at the Meeting<\/em><\/p>\n Speaking at the Meetings, Ms. Tran Thi Thu Ha, Deputy Head of the Emulation and Reward Committee of Hanoi city affirmed that Hanoi DOSC is one of the very few departments and sectors to organize the Meeting to commend \u201cgood people and good deeds\u201d separately, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the city\u2019s launching the \u201cGood people, good deeds\u201d emulation movement and propose specific solutions to spread this beauty and make it a daily cultural lifestyle of the people of the capital. In the coming time, DOSC needs to deploy a more extensive movement to each family, each neighborhood group, continue to discover, foster, propagate and duplicate good examples, synchronously deploy solutions in each phase, each target group to innovate and promote quality and effectiveness of the movement, to meet the requirements and tasks of the city in the new situation.<\/p>\n Ms. Tran Thi Van Anh, <\/em>DOSC\u2019s Deputy Director of the Department, Deputy Chairperson of DOSC\u2019s Emulation and Reward Council spoke at the Meeting <\/em><\/p>\n On behalf of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of the Hanoi DOSC, Ms. Tran Thi Van Anh, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, DOSC\u2019s Deputy Director, Deputy Chairperson of DOSC\u2019s Emulation and Reward Council, expressed her thanks to the Emulation and Reward Committee of the City and other departments and agencies for their attention and close coordination in implementing the emulation movements, especially the \u201cGood people, good deeds\u201d one.
