<\/p>\nThe ceramic road along the Red River was the work to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long – Hanoi, completed in November 2010. It has the unique cultural beauty of the capital, was awarded by the Guinness World Records as “The largest ceramic art painting in the world” in 2010. The ceramic road along the Red River is nearly 4,000m long, with an area of about 7,000m2, running along the districts of Ba Dinh, Hoan Kiem, Hai Ba Trung and Tay Ho.<\/p>\n

The ceramic road at Red River\u2019s bank is regarded as \u201cThe largest ceramic art painting in the world”<\/em><\/p>\n Over time, the work has been degraded in many places, many ceramic pieces had been cracked or peeled off.\u00a0 Many people, due to lack of awareness, arbitrarily gathered construction materials and garbage along the Red River ceramic road, causing a sloppy scene. Some people even burned garbage, defecated indiscriminately, causing many paintings to be burnt and turned gray and unsightly…<\/p>\n The Red River Ceramic Road had undergone many repair<\/em><\/p>\n Recently, the Hanoi People’s Committee has directed relevant departments, sectors and units to implement urban renovation and embellishment projects, to improve the transportation system, reinforcing Nghi Tam dike, rehabilitating Au Co street from the intersection of the entrance to Thang Loi Hotel to the intersection of Nhat Tan Bridge. It is expected that after completing the construction of the concrete retaining wall, there will continue to be a plan to attach paintings to the new wall surface and continue to maintain and develop the Ceramic Road, creating the cultural beauty of Hanoi capital.<\/p>\n In recent years, the Department of Culture and Sports has coordinated with the Department of Construction and related units of the districts and wards to regularly clean the Ceramic Road in order to preserve the Capital’s environmental landscape and the beauty of the Ceramic Road.<\/p>\n Recently, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports has issued a document which requested the districts of Ba Dinh, Hoan Kiem, Hai Ba Trung and Tay Ho to reinforce the management, protection, and sanitation of the landscape in the area of the Ceramic Road.
