<\/p>\nIn the month of action for the environment in 2022, Dong Anh district has had a series of activities such as: Environmental sanitation, collection of recyclables, raising funds to help children in difficult circumstances, organizing a painting contest with the theme “Green, safe and friendly Dong Anh”, displaying products made from recycled materials and green products, exchanging e-waste for gifts, exchanging scraps for trees, environmental protection marches, etc. with participation of the Youth Union, Association, Department of Natural Resources and Environment, which waas launched by the District Youth Union and Dong Anh District Women’s Union in collaboration with other related units, organization.<\/p>\n

On June 4, 2022, in response to World Environment Day June 5, 2022, Dong Anh District People’s Committee held a ceremony to launch action month for the environment with the theme: “Join hands to act for a green, safe and friendly Dong Anh”, attracting the participation of nearly 300 officials, union members, members of branches and unions of communes and towns in the district.<\/p>\n

Exchange scraps for trees, etc<\/em><\/p>\n Students participated in painting integrated with messages of environmental protection<\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0 After the launching ceremony, a series of environmental protection activities were organized by Dong Anh district in June, such as: Propagating, mobilizing organizations, individuals and families to continue involving in the peak waves on cleaning environment from May 15, 2022 to July 31, 2022; actively participating in the general cleaning activities at 06:30 every Saturday, cleaning houses, gardens, village roads, alleys and streets, participating in urban embellishment, not throwing garbage on the street, not encroaching on the sidewalk as a place to trade, mobilizing people to actively plant and take care of trees, maintaining and developing the model of “Gates with flowers, walls with flowers”, implementing the Project “Investment in building Dong Anh form rural district into a urban district”, improving the quality and replicating self-management models such as “Women-run segments\/streets”, “Youth’s tree row”; Young people-run segments\u201d; \u201cMural\/blooming segments\/streets\u201d, \u201cVeteran with waste segregation at source\u201d; \u201cClean fields\u201d; \u201cFarmers actively participating in environmental protection\u201d; \u201cGreen, clean, beautiful and environmentally friendly community activities spot\u201d; \u201cTurn garbage spots into flower gardens\u201d, etc., and mobilizing the wide participation of the whole political system, organizations and individual people in the series of environmental protection activities.<\/p>\n Propaganda parade on environmental protection on roads in Dong Anh<\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0With environmental protection activities, over the past years, Dong Anh district has promoted propaganda to raise people’s awareness about the implementation of Law on Environmental Protection, maintained and improved the quality of domestic waste classification models at source in 24 communes and townships, striving for the percentage of households that perform waste separation at source to reach over 50% .
