Director of the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temper of Literature Le Xuan Kieu and relic officials welcomed the Greek President<\/em><\/p>\n The Greek President spent time visiting architectural works at the Temple of Literature such as Dai Trung Gate, Constellation of Literature pavilion- the symbol of Hanoi’s thousand years of civilization, Bai Duong Dynasty, 82 Doctor’s Stele – World Documentary Heritage and listening to the tour guide introduce about the history of the relic site. Ms. Katerina Sakellaropoulou is particularly interested in the history of the Temper of Literature, the first university in Vietnam.<\/p>\n \u00a0Greek President listening to the introduction about the Temper of Literature<\/em><\/p>\n The President was very interested in education and how to select and employ talents in the monarchy of Vietnam<\/em><\/p>\n In front of the statue of Teacher Chu Van An, President Katerina Sakellaropoulou was very grateful to hear the introduction about the background and career of the typical teacher as well as the tradition of respecting the Vietnamese nation.<\/p>\n The President listened to an introduction about the background and career of teacher Chu Van An. The President expressed his interest in the history of the Temple of Literature<\/em><\/p>\n Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou and a high-ranking Greek delegation arrived in Hanoi, starting an official visit to Vietnam from May 15 to 19, 2022. Within the framework of the official visit to Vietnam, in the morning of May 16, President Katerina Sakellaropoulou and the Greek delegation came to lay flowers and visit the Ho Chi Minh\u2019s Mausoleum; lay a wreath at the Monument of Heroes and Martyrs; attended the official welcome ceremony and held talks with President Nguyen Xuan Phuc. In the afternoon of May 16, the President of Greece paid a courtesy visit to General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and had a number of other side activities such as visiting the Temple of Literature. The Official visit to Vietnam by Greek President Katerina Sakellaropoulou takes place in the context that the traditional friendship between the two countries is developing well.
