The district aims to have approximately 100 outdoor sports and fitness equipment installations by the end of 2025, addressing the community\u2019s demand for physical training and enhancing the health of its residents.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Recently, the public sports and physical fitness movement in Chuong My district has attracted a large number of participants, contributing to health improvement, enhancing cultural and spiritual life, and strengthening community solidarity.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-25560\" src=\"https:\/\/sovhtt.hanoi.gov.vn\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/1-34.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"405\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To achieve these results, Chuong My district consistently emphasizes investing in infrastructure, facilities, and the enhancement of training and competition venues, serving sports and physical fitness activities from the district level to the grassroots. Currently, the district boasts 1 stadium and 1 sports hall at the district center; 4 out of 32 communes have Cultural and Sports Centers; 194 out of 208 hamlets and neighborhoods have Cultural Houses; 16 communal sports areas; 127 hamlet and neighborhood sports areas; and 145 sports fields (9 with stands, 136 without stands). Additionally, there are 90 mini-football fields, 179 volleyball courts, 138 badminton courts, and basketball courts. In 2022, Chuong My district began the installation of outdoor sports and fitness equipment to serve the community during the 2022-2025 period. The district aims to have approximately 100 outdoor sports and fitness equipment installations by the end of 2025, catering to the community\u2019s training needs and promoting the overall health of its residents.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-25561\" src=\"https:\/\/sovhtt.hanoi.gov.vn\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/12\/2-30.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"344\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Chuong My District demonstrates a keen interest in and leadership for various departments, organizations, unions, agencies, units, communes, and towns actively participating in grassroots sports and physical fitness activities. Each year, the district efficiently organizes competitive events and communal physical fitness activities, launches the Olympic Run for Public Health, and maintains effective operations of talent classes, clubs, training centers, and workout groups, successfully engaging a diverse cross-section of the community. In 2022, Chuong My District made concerted efforts to sustain its operations, hosting 21 district-level sports competitions to serve both the political objectives of the district and the significant national and capital events. A noteworthy accomplishment is the consistent participation of 110,236 individuals in regular physical fitness training, constituting 37% of the population, and 19,262 households engaging in fitness activities, reaching 26.2%. Additionally, the district regularly evaluates and recognizes advanced entities in sports and physical fitness at schools, communes, and towns. The outcome reveals 66 schools earning the title \u201cAdvanced Unit in Physical Fitness,\u201d with 22 schools achieving the distinction of \u201cOutstanding Advanced Unit in Physical Fitness\u201d at the city level. At the district level, 17 communes secured the accolade of \u201cAdvanced Unit in Physical Fitness,\u201d and 8 communes attained the status of \u201cOutstanding Advanced Unit in Physical Fitness\u201d at the city level.<\/p>\n<p>To propel the mass physical fitness movement to greater heights, Chuong My District, in 2023, will intensify its awareness campaigns to help residents understand the significance of regular physical fitness training. It aims to mobilize social resources for sports and physical fitness, regularly organize sports competitions, strengthen the cultural and sports institutional framework, and encourage the establishment of additional clubs, training centers, and fitness groups.
