The event saw the participation of distinguished representatives from various foreign embassies in Hanoi, including those of the Russian Federation, the Lao People\u2019s Democratic Republic, Thailand, Italy, Cambodia, Myanmar, the People\u2019s Republic of China, France, the Republic of Korea, Peru, and the Philippines.<\/p>\n

The Organizing Committee presented flowers to representatives of the participating delegations<\/em><\/p>\n

In his opening speech, Mr. Do Dinh Hong, the Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, conveyed that the Hanoi International Culture and Arts Exchange 2023 is spearheaded by the Department of Culture and Sports in collaboration with the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Friendship Union of Hanoi, and several embassies in Hanoi. Featuring performances that showcase the rich cultural heritage of both Vietnam and other participating nations, the program aims to deliver joy, depth, and warmth to the delegates, the public, and the audience of the Capital amid Hanoi\u2019s chilly weather.<\/p>\n

Artists and actors participating in the program took commemorative photos with delegates.<\/em><\/p>\n

Mr. Do Dinh Hong emphasized that Hanoi, known as the millennium-old city of culture, a city of peace, creativity, and hospitality, consistently places a high value on cultural collaboration with nations worldwide. This, he hopes, will contribute to the swift and effective integration of Hanoi with regions and countries globally. Looking ahead, he expressed the expectation that the cultural sector of Hanoi will continue to receive the support and partnership of foreign embassies in Vietnam. This collaboration is crucial for implementing cultural and artistic exchange activities, enhancing mutual understanding, and deepening the comprehensive development relationships between Vietnam in general and Hanoi in particular, with our international friends.<\/p>\n

The Hanoi International Culture and Arts Exchange showcased a captivating lineup of 19 extraordinary acts, including singing, dancing, music, and fashion performances presented by Vietnamese artists and diplomatic representatives from countries such as Russia, China, France, Italy, the Republic of Korea, and Laos.<\/p>\n

The program commenced with a traditional instrumental ensemble: \u201cLuu thuy kim tien \u2013 Xuan phong Long Ho\u201d (Performed by the Ethnic Music Group Thanh Am Viet). Following this was a solo performance on the Dan Bau \u00a0titled \u201cMe yeu con\u201d (Performed by People\u2019s Artist Hoang Anh Tu) and the dance \u201cTruc xinh\u201d (Performed by the Dance Ensemble). The subsequent segment featured performances by embassies of various nations: \u201cCham Pa Dance\u201d (Performed by the Laotian Embassy), \u201cTraditional Dance\u201d (Performed by the Chinese Embassy), \u201cRussian Folk Song\u201d (Performed by the Russian Embassy), \u201cModera Thaidress Fashion Show\u201d (Thai Embassy), \u201cMushup Singing – Em oi Ha Noi pho\u201d (French Embassy), K-pop Dance (the Republic of Korea\u2019s Embassy), and an Instrumental Performance (Italian Embassy).<\/p>\n

In addition to the embassy performances, the program showcased exceptional acts by Vietnamese artists, including \u201cHat van – Co doi thuong ngan\u201d (Artist Minh Phuong and Ensemble), Folk Song: \u201cBeo dat may troi\u201d (Thanh Long Ethnic Music Group), Singing: \u201cThu phap\u201d (Singer Tien Hung and Ensemble), Xam Singing: \u201cMuc ha vo nhan\u201d (People\u2019s Artist Hoang Anh Tu and People\u2019s Artist Thanh Ngoan), Singing: \u201cNong nan Ha Noi\u201d (Singer Duc Trung and Ensemble), Singing: \u201cSon\u201d (Thanh Long Ethnic Music Group), Singing: \u201cMai dinh lang bien\u201d (Singer Tien Hung and Ensemble). The program concluded with a harmonious traditional Vietnamese instrumental piece: \u201cCung dan dat nuoc\u201d (Performed by the Ethnic Music Group Thanh Am Viet).<\/p>\n
