On November 24, 2023, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports issued Plan No. 802\/KH-SVHTT to organize information, propaganda, and visual promotion to welcome the New Year 2024 (New Year) in Hanoi City. Propaganda time is from December 25, 2023, to January 5, 2024 (construction and installation will be carried out 5 days before the propaganda period).<\/p>\n

The Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports assigned Hanoi Information & Exhibition Centre to carry out visual information and propaganda work; guide propaganda and decoration work.<\/p>\n

According to the Plan, information and propaganda work includes increasing the writing of news and propaganda articles on the Department\u2019s electronic information portal and electronic information pages. Content of news and articles: Socio-economic achievements, cultural, arts and sports activities in the city. Propaganda time is from December 20, 2023 to January 3, 2024. At the same time, creating propaganda paintings and vertical banners to decorate propaganda on some main roads, streets, and central areas of the city and assigning the locality for implementation. Visual propaganda includes: Propaganda on the hoarding system, propaganda on the vertical banner system and propaganda on the system of flag stands, flagpoles and flag clusters.<\/p>\n

Decoration and propaganda work in districts, towns: Based on the actual situation of the locality, develop a plan to organize decoration, propaganda and visual promotion activities to serve the New Year 2024 at headquarters, central roads of local areas, densely populated areas… Guide and inspect decoration, propaganda and visual promotion work in communes, wards, towns, agencies, enterprises and units with headquarters located in the area; Mobilize and propagate people to ensure the general cleaning of village roads, streets, alleys to be green, clean and beautiful…<\/p>\n

The Cultural Management Department, Department Inspectorate, Hanoi Information & Exhibition Centre and related units carry out an inspection of information, propaganda and visual promotion work to welcome the new year 2024 from December 26, 2024. 2023 until January 5, 2024.<\/p>\n

It is recommended that the People\u2019s Committees of districts and towns pay attention to allocating funding sources and directing relevant departments and units to develop plans and organize the implementation of information, propaganda and visual promotion in the city, ensuring solemnity, efficiency and savings.<\/p>\n

It is recommended that the People\u2019s Committees of districts, and towns, send plans 5 days before the propaganda campaign and send a report of the results after the end of the 3-day propaganda campaign to the Department of Culture and Sports (through the Department of Cultural Management and the Hanoi Information & Exhibition Centre) to synthesize and report to the City People\u2019s Committee.<\/p>\n
