The Party Civil Affairs Committee of the City People\u2019s Committee has just issued Document No. 505\/TB-BCSD dated December 15, announcing the conclusion by the Party Committee of the City People\u2019s Committee on the policy of managing activities and events held at pedestrian space in the City.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Accordingly, the Party Civil Affairs Committee of the City People\u2019s Committee agreed on the policy of amending the Regulations on management of activities pedestrian space around Hoan Kiem Lake according to the principle of creating synchronization and harmony between pedestrian spaces, not focusing on organizing activities and events in one location, ensuring compliance with the important political, socio-economic and cultural position of the Central Government and the City; assigned the Department of Culture and Sports to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to research and amend the Regulations on management of activities at pedestrian space around Hoan Kiem Lake, advise and report to the City People\u2019s Committee before December 24, 2023.<\/p>\n

\nAccording to the Official Dispatch, during the period of studying and amending the Regulations on management of activities at pedestrian space around Hoan Kiem Lake, to ensure consistency in direction and administration, the Party Civil Affairs Committee of the City People\u2019s Committee assigned the Department of Culture and Sports to preside and coordinate with relevant units to advise on draft documents by the City People\u2019s Committee directing the organization of activities at pedestrian space around Hoan Kiem Lake and its surroundings; only organize typical political and cultural events at the Central and City levels (note that events are not approved in the area in front of the Ly Thai To Monument to Tran Nguyen Han street), not approve to organize tourism, sports, promotional, advertising, commercial and culinary events; generalize, propose and report to the City People\u2019s Committee before December 16, 2023.<\/p>\n
