In an effort to effectively implement the Public Behavior Code and create a positive impact within the community, on August 9, the Women\u2019s Union of Cau Giay District launched the \u201cWomen Participating in the Construction of Model Historical and Cultural Relics to Implement Code of Conduct in Public Places\u201d at the Thanh Chua Pagoda in Dich Vong Hau and Mai Dich wards.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This initiative aims to demonstrate a strong commitment to effectively carrying out Plan No. 210\/KH-UBND of the Hanoi City People\u2019s Committee, as well as the plan from the Hanoi Women\u2019s Union to promote the implementation of the Code of Conduct in Public Places in Hanoi during the 2022\u20132025 period. It also aligns with Plan No. 252\/KH-UBND, dated December 29, 2023, from the Cau Giay District People\u2019s Committee, which focuses on promoting and encouraging women to adhere to the Code of Conduct in Public Places within the district until 2025.<\/p>\n

The model also serves as a strong example of how the Women\u2019s Union and its members continue to play an essential role in promoting a cultural lifestyle and urban etiquette, while also spreading the values of good behavior within the community.<\/p>\n

Nguyen Thi Xuan Nu, Vice Chairwoman of the Women\u2019s Union of Cau Giay District, explained that in developing this model, the Women\u2019s Union worked closely with the People\u2019s Committees of D\u1ecbch V\u1ecdng H\u1eadu and Mai D\u1ecbch wards, the management boards of the two wards\u2019 heritage sites, the Heritage Management Subcommittee, and the pagoda\u2019s abbot to review and refine the criteria as per the guidance outlined in Document No. 20\/HD-BTV from the Hanoi Women\u2019s Union Standing Committee, dated December 15, 2022. The Women\u2019s Union of Cau Giay District recognizes that fostering a civilized culture of behavior at heritage sites contributes to creating a respectful atmosphere for both those managing the sites and visitors, while also enhancing the historical significance of the sites within the community.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith this meaningful and practical goal in mind, the Women\u2019s Union at all levels in the district has committed to promoting the role, responsibility, and mission of its members to actively encourage women and their families to adhere to the public behavior standards at heritage sites and scenic spots,\u201d emphasized Nguyen Thi Xuan Nu.<\/p>\n

During the launch, the Women\u2019s Union of Cau Giay District also introduced a core group dedicated to promoting the Code of Conduct in Public Places at the Thanh Chua Pagoda, consisting of 15 members. This group\u2019s responsibilities include educating the public and visitors about the Code of Conduct in Public Places, encouraging businesses at the site to adopt more responsible behaviors, advising tourists on appropriate dress, and working with local Women\u2019s Union branches, the Front Committee, and neighborhood groups to implement strategies to effectively integrate the Code of Conduct in Public Places into daily life.<\/p>\n
