\u00a0Conference delegates<\/em><\/p>\n Reporting on the results of the \u201cCultural Family\u201d Movement in Hanoi, Do Dinh Hong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, emphasized that, in line with the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh and the policies of the Party, State, and Government, over the years, Hanoi has consistently focused on the goal of building Hanoian\u2019s lifestyle. He stated that family work has always been one of the key components of the city\u2019s five ongoing programs (Previously, Hanoi\u2019s Party Committee had introduced Program No. 05 on March 6, 1997, in celebration of the 990th<\/sup> and 1000th<\/sup> anniversaries of Thang Long – Hanoi. Following the issuance of Resolution No. 5 of the 8th<\/sup> Party Central Committee, the Hanoi Party Committee launched Program 08 on August 4, 2006 (for the 14th term), Program 04 (for the 15th<\/sup>-16th<\/sup> terms), and Program No. 06 on July 30, 2021 (for the 17th term) on \u201cCultural development, improving human resource quality, and building an elegant and civilized Hanoi citizen.\u201d Additionally, on December 30, 2021, the Hanoi Party Committee issued Plan No. 57 to implement Directive No. 06-CT\/TU (June 24, 2021) of the Politburo on strengthening the Party\u2019s leadership in family work in the new context, and the plan to execute the Vietnam Family Development Strategy through 2030 in Hanoi, all aimed at unifying the goal of building a cultural environment and fostering the \u201cHanoians\u201d from the city to the grassroots level. This critical mission requires Hanoi\u2019s residents to both preserve and promote the rich traditions and cultural values accumulated over a thousand years of history, while simultaneously developing themselves in all aspects, striving to become elegant, civilized individuals who meet the demands of the new revolutionary tasks and contribute to the sustainable development of the country.<\/p>\n Report by Do Dinh Hong, Director of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, at the Conference<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cBuilding a Cultural Family is considered an important foundation for developing cultural models, closely integrated into \u201cAll People Unite to Build Cultural Lives at the Grassroots Level\u201d movement, and \u201cAll People Unite to Build New Rural Areas and Civilized Urban Areas movement. Each year, 100% of local Party committees, governments, the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), social organizations, districts, towns, and communes across the city build, issue, and implement family-related tasks effectively through various practical activities, such as organizing cultural and sports events for families; holding seminars on family work, gender equality, and domestic violence prevention; enhancing the effectiveness of family cultural clubs; and honoring traditional, cultural, and happy families at the grassroots level. The registration and evaluation process for the title of \u201cCultural Family\u201d is conducted according to regulations, and more than 90% of families register for this title. These initiatives have helped families access basic social services and improve their quality of life. Household economies have made significant contributions to national income, with many families achieving legitimate prosperity. The protection, care, and education of children and the elderly within families have been prioritized, with notable progress made. Gender equality, children\u2019s rights, and the role of women in families and society are increasingly valued. Caring for, nurturing, and preserving happiness in the family are noble values that every resident of Hanoi strives to uphold. The shared values of loyalty, love, mutual support, and equality in marriage are always emphasized. The achievements of the family-building work in Hanoi have contributed significantly to the city\u2019s cultural development, fostering elegant and civilized Hanoi citizens, as well as promoting economic and social development, contributing to the city\u2019s modernization and growth.<\/p>\n Sharing experiences in building cultural families at the conference<\/em><\/p>\n At the conference, delegates also had the opportunity to listen to the experiences of families in various localities regarding the construction of \u201cCultural Families,\u201d how each family maintains peace, harmony, and happiness, and how they work together to develop economically and build a prosperous and happy life.
