The \u201cBai Ca Ket Doan\u201d cultural exchange program by ethnic groups active in the Village<\/p>\n
Over 200 people from 17 ethnic groups across 21 provinces and cities will participate in the activities of the \u201cGreat Unity of Ethnic Groups – Vietnamese Cultural Heritage\u201d Week 2024. This includes more than 100 people from 16 ethnic communities regularly active at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism, such as Tay, Nung, Dao, Mong, Muong, Lao, Thai, Kho Mu, Ta Oi, Ba Na, Co Tu, Xo Dang, Gia Rai, Raglai, Ede, and Khmer from locations including Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Ha Giang, Hoa Binh, Son La, Thua Thien Hue, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Dak Lak, Ninh Thuan, and Soc Trang. Additionally, 25 people from the Choro ethnic group in Dong Nai province will join.<\/p>\n
Within the event\u2019s framework, ethnic communities will participate in activities such as the Opening Ceremony of the \u201cGreat Unity of Ethnic Groups – Vietnamese Cultural Heritage\u201d Week 2024 and the 7th<\/sup> Festival of Then Singing and Tinh Instrument of the Tay, Nung, Thai ethnic groups in 2024. Other activities include the National Great Unity Festival at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism, cultural festival performances, and interactive sessions showcasing the cultural heritage of various ethnic groups\u2026<\/p>\n The 7th<\/sup> Festival of Then Singing and Tinh Instrument for the Tay, Nung, and Thai ethnic groups will be held from November 16 to 18, featuring artisans, artists, and performers from these ethnic groups living, studying, and working in 15 provinces and cities, including Hanoi, Bac Giang, Lang Son, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Bac Kan, Cao Bang, Ha Giang, Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Lao Cai, Son La, Dak Nong, Dak Lak, and Lam Dong.<\/p>\n Then Singing and Tinh Instrument – a unique art form propagated by the Tay ethnic group in the \u201ccommon house\u201d.<\/p>\n During the three-day festival, various cultural and artistic activities will take place, such as a photo exhibition on \u201cThe Heritage of Then Singing and Tinh Instrument,\u201d documentary screenings on the heritage of Then practice by the Tay, Nung, and Thai people in Vietnam, recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Traditional cultural products, including artifacts, images, musical instruments, and costumes of the Tay, Nung, and Thai ethnic groups, will be displayed. These will reflect the traditional art of Then Singing and Tinh Instrument, local achievements in production, national defense, economic-social development, and the community\u2019s cultural life.
