The event aims to continue strengthening and expanding people-to-people diplomacy with China, with special emphasis on collaboration with the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam. The tournament aligns with Notification No. 1853\/TB-LHHN from October 25, 2024, by the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, which outlined strategic directions for 2025, including the 13<sup>th<\/sup> Vietnam-China People\u2019s Forum and a series of cultural exchange activities.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-29678\" src=\"https:\/\/sovhtt.hanoi.gov.vn\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sovhtt.hanoi.gov.vn\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/3.jpg 600w, https:\/\/sovhtt.hanoi.gov.vn\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/3-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports Le Thi Anh Mai delivered the opening speech.<\/p>\n<p>The Vietnam-China Friendship Sports Tournament in Hanoi will take place on December 6-7, 2024, featuring nearly 200 athletes from 12 different units. Competitors will compete in four sports: badminton, table tennis, sack jumping, and tug-of-war (for both male and female participants).
