The series consists of 63 paintings arranged continuously, forming a spectacular 300-meter-long work.<\/em>The paintings employ a realistic style with bright color harmonies reflecting the characteristics of each region. The artist uses continuous, simultaneous, and symbolic compositions across multiple spaces and times, creating harmony, rich and diverse transitions, yet a unified whole \u2013these are hallmark techniques of Mural Painting.<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Sharing about the exhibition, artist Ngo Ba Hoang expressed: \u201cWith this painting series, I hope every Vietnamese, especially the younger generation, will better understand, love, and take pride in their homeland and country. At the same time, I also hope that monumental painting \u2013 a field we teach and develop \u2013 will be widely appreciated and loved by the public.\u201d<\/p>\n

Painter Ngo Ba Hoan<\/em>In 2024, Ngo Ba Hoang began sketching the painting \u201cHello Vietnam \u2013 My Homeland\u201d and, with the support of more than 40 collaborators, including artists and students specializing in Mural Painting at the University of Industrial Fine Arts, embarked on an inspiring artistic journey, creating this series on large canvases using acrylic paint. The artist is not merely producing a series of paintings but composing a monumental visual epic about the homeland. With a height of 1.8 meters and a total length of over 300 meters, the series unfolds like a long silk ribbon, depicting Vietnam from Lung Cu \u2013 Ha Giang to Dat Mui \u2013 Ca Mau. Each brushstroke not only recreates the grandeur of nature but also celebrates the cultural identity and people of Vietnam across its regions.<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The paintings honor the cultural identity and people of Vietnam through each region of the country.<\/em>The exhibition aims to educate the public on patriotic traditions, the spirit of great unity, the aspiration for peace, and national pride; to express deep gratitude to generations who sacrificed their lives for national independence and unity; and to affirm determination in the cause of national construction and defense. The seminar \u201cThe Role of Mural Painting in Youth and Love for the Homeland\u201d also took place at the Hanoi Creative Activities Coordination Center<\/em>\u00a0<\/em>The exhibition ran from August 23, 2025, to September 5, 2025. As part of the opening ceremony, the seminar \u201cThe Role of Mural Painting in Youth and Love for the Homeland\u201d was held at the Hanoi Creative Activities Coordination Center, Hanoi Museum. Here, the public and painting enthusiasts had the opportunity to interact with artists Ngo Ba Hoang and Le Huy Tiep \u2013 former Chairman of the Art Council of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association, along with representatives from the University of Industrial Fine Arts.
