<\/p>\nThis activity, held in May, involved over 100 participants from 16 ethnic groups who engage in daily cultural activities, including Nung, Tay, Mong, Dao, Muong, Lao, Thai, Kho Mu, Ta Oi, Ba Na, Xo Dang, Gia Rai, Co Tu, Raglai, E De, and Khmer. Participants came from 11 localities: Thai Nguyen, Hanoi, Ha Giang, Son La, Hoa Binh, Hue, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Dak Lak, Ninh Thuan, and Soc Trang. In addition, 25 Co Tu and Ta Oi people from A Luoi District, Hue City also took part in the event.<\/p>\n
With the theme \u201cUncle Ho and the Vietnamese Ethnic Communities,\u201d the May activities at the Village included the folk singing and dancing program \u201cUncle Ho \u2013 A Boundless Love,\u201d featuring performances that express the deep respect and affection of the ethnic communities in A Luoi District toward Uncle Ho.<\/p>\n
In addition to reenacting the Forest Deity Worship Ceremony of the A Luoi ethnic groups, the event also showcased national intangible cultural heritage through the Zeng weaving art (traditional brocade), a source of pride for the Ta Oi people of A Luoi District.<\/p>\n

Photo: LVH <\/em><\/p>\n Alongside this, the Village hosted the folk singing and dancing program \u201c<\/strong>Song Dedicated to Uncle Ho\u201d, performed by the ethnic communities regularly active at the Village. The Central Highlands ethnic groups expressed their affection for Uncle Ho through the interactive program \u201cUncle Ho and the Central Highlands, the Central Highlands and Uncle Ho\u201d, featuring folk songs and dances.<\/p>\n During this time, the Khmer temple complex also celebrated Vesak, the most important Buddhist festival of the year, honoring the Buddha, recounting his life as a historical figure, and reflecting on his teachings.<\/p>\n Visitors to the Village had the opportunity to experience a variety of traditional games, including throwing and catching games, Vietnamese Mandarin square capturing, tic-tac-toe, and bamboo puppetry indoors, as well as stilts, bamboo pole jumping, swings, and seesaws outdoors.
