Many activities took place in March at the Village under the theme \u201cYouth and Traditional Culture.\u201d<\/p>\n
The March activities celebrated the vibrant traditional culture of the Tay and Nung ethnic groups in Thai Nguyen province and offered experiences of traditional culture with the Mong ethnic group in Nghe An, including:<\/p>\n
Reenactment of the Peace-Offering Ritual of the Tay and Nung ethnic groups in Thai Nguyen province: <\/em>This is the most representative festival of the Tay and Nung people in Thai Nguyen, aimed at offering thanks to the heavens and the earth for blessings on the village, the clan, and the family, wishing for a harmonious, warm, and prosperous new year.<\/p>\n Peace-offering ceremony of the Tay ethnic group.<\/em> Photo: LVH<\/p>\n \u201cSpring Echoes with Then Songs\u201d exchange program<\/em>: This program brought visitors folk songs, folk dances, and unique Then melodies, creating a joyful and lively atmosphere, rich in traditional cultural elements and showcasing the distinctive diversity of Thai Nguyen culture.<\/p>\n Reenactment of the New Year Offering Ritual of the Mong ethnic group in Nghe An province:<\/em> According to the Mong lunar calendar, each month has 30 days, without leap months, and each year has 12 months, totaling 360 days. Thus, around the end of the 11th<\/sup> lunar month, the Mong people begin celebrating Tet. A key ritual during this time is the New Year Offering Ceremony.
