The Opening Ceremony will take place at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel and the Closing Ceremony at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-30601\" src=\"https:\/\/sovhtt.hanoi.gov.vn\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/1333-600x343.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"343\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sovhtt.hanoi.gov.vn\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/1333-600x343.jpg 600w, https:\/\/sovhtt.hanoi.gov.vn\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/1333.jpg 840w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The main stage will be located at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square; a secondary stage at the area of Den Ba Kieu Flower Garden along with performance and showcasing activities on Ho Hoan Kiem pedestrian streets; Hanoi Museum; the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities Temple of Literature.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, Vice Chairwoman of the City People\u2019s Committee Vu Thu Ha signed and issued Plan No. 268\/KH-UBND dated September 30, 2025, adjusting and supplementing several tasks under Plan No. 157\/KH-UBND dated June 6, 2025 of Hanoi City People\u2019s Committee regarding the organization of \u201cThang Long \u2013 Hanoi Festival 2025\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Accordingly, the city will suspend the organization of 02 programs: Hong River International Music Festival 2025 and \u201cMasquerade Festival \u2013 Heritage Connection\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Adjustments will be made to the following activities, including: (1) The program \u201cMemory of the Lotus Season \u2013 Art and Zen in Heritage\u201d, scheduled for November 7 \u2013 8, 2025 at Hanoi Museum, adjusted to: the art program \u201cEternal Moment\u201d, scheduled for November 8, 2025 at Hanoi Museum; (2) The program \u201cHanoi Open Puppetry Festival\u201d, scheduled for November 8, 2025 at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, adjusted to: \u201cHanoi Open Puppetry Festival\u201d, scheduled for November 8, 2025 at the area of Den Ba Kieu Flower Garden.<\/p>\n<p>Additional activities will be included in the \u201cHeritage Convergence\u201d program held at Temple of Literature: Music performances by traditional and contemporary art groups at the Inner Sanctuary; Exhibition space showcasing traditional craft village products of the three ancient capitals (Thang Long, Hue, Hoa Lu) &amp; provinces of the Central Highlands; Introduction of Hanoi Cuisine \u2013 Flavors of Hanoi, and hands-on experience with handicrafts \u2013 creative design at Ho Van.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-30602\" src=\"https:\/\/sovhtt.hanoi.gov.vn\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/333-600x322.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"322\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sovhtt.hanoi.gov.vn\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/333-600x322.jpg 600w, https:\/\/sovhtt.hanoi.gov.vn\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/333.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Illustrative photo<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Fifteen additional performances of cultural heritage from wards and communes will be included, such as: Ba Bong Dance \u2013 Phu Xuyen Commune, Bong Dance \u2013 Thanh Liet Ward, Bat Xa Loa Thanh Palanquin Procession \u2013 Dong Anh Commune&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>New activities to be organized include: Opening of the art exhibition \u201cHanoi thanh tan\u201d; the art program \u201cHanoi oi\u201d; Opening of the educational exhibition \u201cHeritage and the Future\u201d at Temple of Literature; Water puppetry performances by puppetry wards at Vuon Giam, Temple of Literature; Activities commemorating the 10<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of Tug-of-War Ritual and Game being inscribed by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage.<\/p>\n<p>The City People\u2019s Committee requests that the organization of \u201cThang Long \u2013 Hanoi Festival 2025\u201d be implemented under the two-level local government model, ensuring compactness, efficiency, effectiveness, and performance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">Reporter<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cThang Long \u2013 Hanoi Festival 2025\u201d will be held from October 31, 2025 to November 9, 2025.
