On the evening of November 8, within the framework of the Thang Long – Hanoi Festival 2025, the Hanoi Museum hosted the art program \u201c<\/em>Eternal Moments\u201d<\/em> to honor the capital\u2019s cultural heritage, awaken the spirit of innovation, and promote the image of Vietnam through contemporary art.<\/p>\n

The art program \u201cEternal Moments\u201d is inspired by Hanoi\u2019s thousand-year cultural flow – a place where tradition meets modernity – aiming to transform the Hanoi Museum into a living heritage stage, where art is not only exhibited but also reborn through sound, light, and movement. The event featured six interconnected works: Khoi Thanh – Giao Thoi – Dong Thanh – Song & Hat – Mong Anh – Phan Chieu, performed by nearly 100 artists in the open-stage space of the Hanoi Museum. Each performance is a narrative chapter that places tradition and contemporary elements in a state of dialogue, where music, physical expression, and light create an emotional flow across time.<\/p>\n

Throughout the program, the works evolve from primordial tones to contemporary sound and movement structures, forming a multi-layered artistic space. The sounds of bronze drums and traditional instruments converse with electronic rhythms, while physical language provides a direct connection between the performers\u2019 bodies and the heritage space. This combination does not aim to recreate the past illustratively but seeks to revive sensations and memories, opening new layers of associations for the audience.<\/p>\n

The impressive stage of \u201cEternal Moments.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nguyen Quoc Hoang Anh, the general director and music director, shared that this program continues to pursue the orientation of a \u201cNew Eastern Aesthetic,\u201d aiming to create a dialogue between Vietnam\u2019s traditional heritage, especially local materials, and modern and Western artistic elements.<\/p>\n

The program takes the audience through different layers of perception: from origin, convergence, resonance, diffusion, to reflection, demonstrating that heritage is not static but continues to live in contemporary life. With a 360-degree stage experience, the audience becomes part of the performance, experiencing a diverse range of art forms that guide viewers back to the cultural roots and values of the nation.<\/p>\n

\u201cEternal Moments\u201d not only renews cultural expression.<\/p>\n

\u201cRecently, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports issued creative space criteria. This is also a way for the community and creative spaces to connect with the Hanoi Museum, and for the Museum to engage with creative spaces to build cultural programs that serve the community and spread creative values.\u201d<\/p>\n

The program \u201cEternal Moments\u201d marks a groundbreaking artistic collaboration between Vietnam and Switzerland, featuring artist Dominique Barthassat, who brings delicate contemporary European tones, skillfully blending with Vietnamese folk instruments. This activity is part of the strategy to expand the international cooperation network, connecting with UNESCO\u2019s Creative Cities Network, affirming the country\u2019s position in the global art scene.<\/p>\n

\u201c<\/em>Eternal Moments\u201d<\/em> offers a multi-sensory artistic experience, where the audience immerses themselves in every rhythm and movement of artistic language, technology, and contemporary creativity. Through a series of works combining music, dance, and visual performance, the program affirms the limitless creativity of Vietnamese culture. At the same time, the event reflects the spirit of integration, bringing Hanoi\u2019s heritage into the global flow of art.<\/p>\n
