<\/p>\nOn the evening of August 31, 2025, at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi), the art program \u201cHanoi – Forever Shining the Aspiration of Vietnam\u201d took place. The program was broadcast live on Hanoi Radio and Television and on digital platforms.<\/p>\n

Delegates and the people attending the program – Photo by: PM<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cHanoi – Forever Shining the Aspiration of a Thousand-Year City\u201d is an art program directed in content by the Hanoi City Party Committee, the Hanoi People\u2019s Council, the Hanoi People\u2019s Committee, and the Hanoi City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, organized by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, and performed by the Thang Long Water Puppet Theater. The program is part of the activities of the exhibition \u201cAchievements of the Country\u201d with the theme \u201c80 Years Journey of Independence – Freedom – Happiness\u201d and is also one of the meaningful events celebrating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2 of Hanoi.<\/p>\n The program was organized to honor the outstanding achievements of the country in general and of the capital Hanoi in particular throughout 80 years of building and development. The first is \u2018Socio-Economic Achievements of the Capital\u2019 <\/strong>with the theme \u2018Hanoi – a cultured and heroic capital: 80 years journey alongside the country\u2019<\/strong>, and the second is the space \u2018Hanoi Tradition and Creativity 2025\u2019<\/strong>, promoting socio-economic, cultural, tourism, and creative industry achievements – key sectors in the capital\u2019s main economy; showcasing handicraft products, technology, high-tech industries, ornamental plants, and presenting traditional craft villages, cuisine, and cultural experiences.\u201d<\/p>\n People\u2019s Artist Thu Huyen performing in the program – Photo by: PM<\/em><\/p>\n Vice Chairman Vu Thu Ha emphasized: \u201cAlong with the two exhibition and display spaces, the special art program \u2018Hanoi – Forever Shining the Aspiration of Vietnam\u2019<\/strong> aims to let audiences, citizens, and visitors immerse themselves in the historical moments of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, to deeply feel a resilient and indomitable yet elegant and refined Hanoi, a Hanoi that, together with the entire country, pursues the goal of developing Vietnam into a strong, prosperous, and happy nation.\u201d<\/p>\n Drum performance in the program – Photo by: PM<\/em><\/p>\n The art program \u201cHanoi – The Everlasting Aspiration of Vietnam\u201d was meticulously staged in three chapters, featuring vocal and dance performances, stage tableaux, historical archival images, and the integration of modern presentation technologies such as 3D mapping, multi-tiered staging combined with laser effects, and more. Chapter I, titled \u201cHanoi: Day, Month, Year,\u201d depicts the historic moment of September 2, 1945, and highlights the role of the capital city of Hanoi in the struggle for independence and national reunification – an epic page of history imbued with the love and heartfelt devotion of the people of Hanoi. Chapter II, \u201cHanoi in the Eyes of Who,\u201d introduces outstanding achievements in socio-economic development as well as culture, education, and science of the capital city of Hanoi over 80 years of accompanying the nation. Chapter III, \u201cA New Day for Vietnam,\u201d recreates the image of a dynamic, integrated, and modern capital, expressing the determination to build Hanoi as a city that is \u201cCultured – Civilized – Modern,\u201d contributing to a prosperous and happy Vietnam.<\/p>\n The program was elaborately and impressively staged – Photo by: PM<\/em><\/p>\n The program opened with the ceremonial drum performance \u201cThe Heroic Spirit of Vietnam,\u201d followed by works such as the instrumental piece \u201cThe Time Has Come\u201d and the songs \u201cAugust Nineteenth,\u201d \u201cHe Is Ho Chi Minh,\u201d and \u201cTien quan ca,\u201d leading the audience back to the nation\u2019s glorious historical moments – the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, 1945. Notably, during \u201cTien quan ca,\u201d the flag-saluting ritual and flag-raising ceremony were conducted solemnly, accompanied by a powerful performance of the National Anthem with the participation of more than 2,000 singers, artists, and performers, together with the voices of a large audience, creating a sacred atmosphere that awakened the strength and the spirit of unity of the Vietnamese nation.<\/p>\n An impressive paragliding performance in the program – Photo by: PM<\/em><\/p>\n Alongside the songs \u201cContinuing the Story of Peace,\u201d \u201cVietnam in Me,\u201d and \u201cMy Vietnam,\u201d the program also brought audiences many songs themed around Hanoi, such as \u201cThe People of Hanoi,\u201d \u201cWill Return to the Capital,\u201d \u201cMarching Toward Hanoi,\u201d \u201cThe Spirit of Hanoi,\u201d \u201cAre You the Autumn of Hanoi,\u201d \u201cRemembering Hanoi\u2019s Autumn,\u201d \u201cHanoi – Twelve Seasons of Flowers,\u201d \u201cHanoi – Faith and Hope,\u201d \u201cSacred and Elegant Hanoi,\u201d and \u201cHo Guom at Dawn.\u201d In particular, audiences also enjoyed the traditional cheo melody \u201cDao lieu\u201d and the xam piece \u201cThang Long Rises,\u201d performed through a fusion of traditional and modern arts, leaving a deep emotional impression.
