In memorial of the 70th<\/sup> anniversary of War Invalids\u2019 and Martyrs\u2019 Day (July 27, 1947 \u2013 July 27, 2017)<\/strong>,<\/strong> Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs jointly organize<\/strong> the <\/strong>\u201c70 <\/strong>Y<\/strong>ears of <\/strong>G<\/strong>ratitude\u201d <\/strong>E<\/strong>xhibition<\/strong> at the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts<\/strong> (<\/strong>No.<\/strong> 2 Hoa L<\/strong>u<\/strong>, Hai <\/strong>Ba <\/strong>Tr<\/strong>u<\/strong>ng, H<\/strong>anoi<\/strong>) <\/strong>from July <\/strong>25 <\/strong>to July 27.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Attending guests at the opening ceremony to the exhibition were Mr. Dang Ngoc Dung, Minister of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs, Mr. Vuong Duy Bien, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, Lieutenant General Pham Tuan, hero of the people\u2019s armed forces, Major General Le Ma Luong, Former Director of the Museum of Vietnam History, representatives of ministries, departments, and agencies, Vietnamese heroic mothers, heroes of the people’s armed forces, reporters, and the public.<\/p>\n

The \u201c70 Years of Gratitude\u201d Exhibition includes the following contents: displaying material, objects, and images of President Ho Chi Minh and Party and State leaders with the work of rewarding war invalids, martyrs, and people with meritorious services to the revolution; displaying outstanding achievements in the work of rewarding war invalids, martyrs, and people with meritorious services to the revolution; and displaying items with the \u201cWhole society with the \u201cGratitude\u201d movement\u201d theme, in which the scope of display of the \u201cWhole society with the \u201cGratitude\u201d movement\u201d theme includes the following exhibitions: \u201cDeep gratitude\u201d by Viet Nam Military History Museum; \u201cPeople\u2019s Public Security – 70 years of gratitude\u201d by the People\u2019s Public Security Museum; \u201cHanoi – 70 years of Gratitude movement\u201d by Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports; \u201cThai Nguyen, Place of Origin of the War Invalids\u2019 and Martyrs\u2019 Day, July 27\u201d by Thai Nguyen Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; \u201cVietnamese Heroic Mothers\u201d by Quang Nam Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; and \u201cLetters from the war in Vietnam\u201d by Vietnam Heroic Mother Monument Management Unit (Quang Nam) and Center for Study, Conservation and Promotion of Vietnamese Culture.<\/p>\n

The exhibition also includes booths displaying products of enterprises and production establishments of war invalids, veterans, and families entitled to assistance. The exhibition also includes the \u201cLetters from the war and national history and culture\u201d seminar, \u201cSongs of grace\u201d art exchange program, the veteran singing contest themed \u201cRemembering out teammates”, and meetings with winners of literature prizes on the subject of war invalids and martyrs, and so on.<\/p>\n

The exhibition is a cultural event with a deep social and political significance in honoring and paying tribute to heroic martyrs, war invalids, wounded soldiers, and people with meritorious services to the revolution who devoted their lives in defending the Fatherland. The exhibition also contributes to promoting the patriotic tradition and revolutionary heroism among the people, especially the younger generations, thereby mobilizes resources in the society to improve the material and spiritual life of policy beneficiaries and people with meritorious services to the revolution, contributing to the implementation of law policies and guidelines of the Party and the State on the work of rewarding war invalids, martyrs, and people with meritorious services to the revolution.<\/p>\n
