Looking for proposals and solutions to deal with traffic congestions and limit traffic accidents; strengthen the management of urban order and civilization; setting traffic culture for the young generation, through which to disseminate knowledge and skills on traffic participation for pupils in the capital, gradually setting up the traffic culture of Hanoians. The communication programme is deployed in order to strengthen dissemination work on traffic safety following the topic for the year 2017 of the National Traffic Safety Committee: \u201cBuilding up traffic culture in youth and teenagers\u201d with the target \u201cHuman safety first\u201d; heighten the awareness of the state agencies, transport enterprises and residents on the compliance with laws on traffic order and safety; contributing to reduced traffic congestions and accidents; strengthen urban order and civilization, helping reduce the traffic congestions and accidents in the capital.<\/p>\n

is one idea which contributes to reduced traffic congestions <\/em><\/p>\n

Strengthening and diversifying the forms of education, communication and dissemination on heightening the awareness on the compliance with regulations of laws on traffic safety, improving cultural behavior acts when participating in traffic, heightening the awareness of the community and society on traffic accident consequence, trending towards the limitation and mitigation of traffic accidents, building up traffic environment in the capital in particular and in the country in general.<\/p>\n

Praising typical organizations and individuals which make contributions to traffic safety and security, urban civilization in Hanoi.<\/p>\n

Hanoi People\u2019s Committee requires event organizing agencies and units to host visual communication events, multimedia communication events in order to strengthen the dissemination on traffic safety laws, heighten the awareness of residents when participating in traffic, especially building up the traffic culture in youth and teenagers; contributing to construction of urban order and civilization as well as ensuring traffic security and safety in 2017 in the entire capital.<\/p>\n

Organize the writing competition on \u201cFor the traffic safety of the capital\u201d, including articles, reports with photos and analysis, offering suggestions on the reduce of traffic congestion and accidents; giving information or reflection on traffic security and safety of the city;<\/p>\n

Organizing the competition on \u201cFor traffic safety of the capital\u201d on internet for pupils, students and youth to disseminate to them knowledge, skills on traffic participation of pupils, students and youth in Hanoi capital, from which to gradually setting up traffic culture of Hanoians, contributing to reduced traffic congestions and accidents in the capital.<\/p>\n

The communication programme titled \u201cFor the traffic safety of the capital in 2017\u201d was implemented from July 2017 to March 2018.<\/p>\n

Economics and Urban Newspaper (the chairing unit on implementation organization) shall be the standing agency which is responsible to coordinate with relevant departments, district, wards and unit to organize the implementation. Making plan and programme on the implementation of communication activities; promulgating regulations and establishing the board of examiners for competitions. Reporting to Hanoi People\u2019s Committee for its instructions on the program implementation plan and the budget for the program. Signing the cooperation agreement between the Economic and Urban Times and units, enterprises to make coordination in organizing and sponsoring the programme. Widely publicizing the implementation plan of the programme on Economic and Urban Times (on both newspapers and electronics one) and some other communication and press agencies. Sending to departments, associations, districts, wards, army forces, non-business administrative bodies, enterprises, some universities, research institutes, consultants, \u2026. in the area and organizations, individuals and press agencies in entire country the implementation plan of the programme to invite them to participate in the programme. Receiving articles for competition, organizing preliminary examination and selecting the articles to regularly post articles and maintain the column titled: \u201cFor the traffic safety in the capital\u201d on Economic and Urban Times (on both newspapers and electronics one). Chairing and coordinating with Department of Transportation, the Traffic Safety Board of the city, Department of Education and Training in conducting on-line tests for pupils, students and youth in the area. Printing, posting banderols to make communication on traffic safety, urban security and civilization and the competition titled \u201cFor the traffic safety of the capital in 2017\u201d on road routes in Hanoi; on buses and public transport means. Chairing and coordinating with Hanoi Department of Transportation, the Office of the Traffic Safety Board of the city in presenting the website giaothongthudo.vn before the public; organizing sum-up and review meetings for programmes as regulated. Frequently reporting the progress of the plan implementation and timely asking for opinions of leaders from Hanoi People\u2019s committee on programme implementation.\/.<\/p>\n
