When meeting Ms. Luong at the market gate, Ms. Yen curiously asked:<\/p>\n
– Where did you find this convenient bag?<\/p>\n
– Well, the Women\u2019s Union delivered it to me as well as other members for carrying things bought from the market every day to limit the use of plastic bags. Since I had this bag, I have found it convenient to use every day.<\/p>\n

Plastic bags should be limited because they are very difficult to decompose, causing environmental pollution.<\/em><\/p>\n Then, Ms. Luong excitedly explained, \u201calthough it is convenient to use plastic bags when discharged into the environment, they may cause air pollution if burned or it will take them hundreds of years to be decomposed if buried. Waste plastic bags cause the soil and water environment to be polluted, affecting human health. Therefore, if we change the habit of using plastic bags in a cost-saving, reasonable, repeated use, it also contributes to reducing environmental pollution.<\/p>\n Ms. Luong also reminded Yen:<\/p>\n – You should also take your own bags instead of using plastic bags, it will certainly reduce the environmental pollution.<\/p>\n Organizing the \u201climit the use of plastic bags for environment\u201d program at schools contributes to raising students\u2019 awareness of environmental protection<\/em><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/em>The delivery of environmentally-friendly bags by Ms. Luong\u2019s Ward Women\u2019s Union is a practical way to help women in particular and people in general raise awareness of environmental protection, minimizing the use plastic bags.
