Attending the conference were Vice Chairman of Hai Phong Municipal People’s Committee Le Khac Nam; Director of Emulation and Commendment of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism Phung Huy Can. Together with representative leaders for the departments of culture and sports, departments of culture, sports and tourism of 5 central cities i.e Hai Phong, Can Tho, Ho chi Minh city, Da Nang and Ha Noi were also on hand.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of Hai Phong Municipal People’ Committee said in 2020 the sector of culture, sports and tourism in the whole country has suffered severe impacts of Covid-19 pandemic. Hai Phong city is furtunate for not having had no case infected from the community; given the special concern and effective investments, the socio-cultural sector has continued to some extent to develop. It can be judged that Hai Phong has succeeded in realizing the duo objectives in terms of economic development as well as effective prevention of the disease. Basically, 5 cities have managed in overcoming difficulties, striving to achieve the certain outcomes in these fields. To ackowledge these efforts, he requested that the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism commends and encourage the sector of culture, sports and tourism in a timely manner; in a hope that they will further promote exchange and sharing of experiences in order to fulfil their assigned tasks.
