Political and ideological education and training on revolutionary ideals for union members and young people are among the most important tasks that contribute to building and strengthening an increasingly strong Youth Union organization. Accordingly, the Youth Union Branch of the Department has pushed for the effective implementation of Directive No. 42CT/TW of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat on “Strengthening the Party’s leadership on the training on revolutionary ideals, ethics, and cultural lifestyle for the young generation in period 2015 – 2030” in association with the effective implementation of Politburo’s Directive No. 05/CT/TW on promoting learning and following President Ho Chi Minh’s ideas, ethics, and lifestyle. In implementing Resolution No. 18-NQ/DUK on “Highlighting the responsibility of setting the example of key officials and heads of grassroots Party units within the Party Committee of the city’s agencies”, the Youth Union Branch of the Department has Youth Union units negotiate with the agency-level and unit-level socio-political organizations which develop monitoring plans in order to promote the supervisory role of the Youth Union Branch in cultivating and training ethical acts and lifestyles for heads of unit, key officials, and Party members. Youth Union has also enhanced the promotion of ethical education and training on lifestyle, behavior, attitude, and way of handling work; focused on propagating the two Codes of Conduct of the city; and listened to the wishes of Youth Union members for reporting to the leadership of Party committees for discussion and settlement.
