Towards the Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, for the term 2022-2027, on March 17, Youth Union of Hanoi Museum organized the Youth Union Congress term 2022-2024 to evaluate performance of the youth union movement and tasks in the last term; identify goals, tasks, solutions for the new term.
The Congress welcomed the attendance of Ms. Vu Ha Phuong – Secretary of Youth Union of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports; Mr. Nguyen Tien Da – Secretary of Youth Union, Director of Hanoi Museum; members in the Board of Directors, Trade Union… and other 26 members representing 40 members of Hanoi Museum.

At the Congress, the delegates and youth union members heard a report on the Youth Union’s work result and movement for 2019-2022 and the direction and tasks for 2022-2024 of Hanoi Museum Union. Accordingly, Hanoi Museum Youth Union consists of 40 members aged from 26 to 36 years old. With the spirit of solidarity, pioneering and volunteering, 100% of union members clearly defined their tasks to complete professional work thoroughly, moreover, to participate in sports & cultural activities, political service activities, volunteering work, pioneering & companion movements …
Delegates congratulating comrades in Executive Committee of Hanoi Museum Youth Union for 2022-2024 term
Political and ideological education, fostering revolutionary ideals for youth union members is determined to be one of the important tasks contributing to build and strengthen the increasingly strong Union. Youth union members always have a sense of learning and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral example. For 2019 – 2022, 100% of Union members successfully completed their professional tasks and 95% of Union members won the title of Advanced Labor at the unit level; 01 member achieved the title of grassroots emulation soldier. For cultural and sports movements, youth union members promoted the core role in these activities of the unit, actively participated in teamwork; Coordinated with football tournament organizers, engaged in Vietnam – China friendship tournament and achieved many medals.
In addition, over the past time, Youth Union at all levels has actively promoted propaganda, advised, and created appropriate mechanisms and conditions to mobilize youth union members to delvelop the creativity, dare-to-think and dare-to-do spirit; take the lead in learning; participate in Postgraduate classes, informatics, foreign languages.
Particularly, Youth Union has organized many meaningful activities such as: Charity donation, visiting and giving gifts to families in difficult circumstances during Covid-19 epidemic; visiting and giving gifts to families under preferential treatment policy in the unit on the occasion of July 27; cooperation with Hanoi Museum Youth Union to support the nurturing of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers… and many other meaningful activities in children care.

Speaking at the congress, Mr. Nguyen Tien Da – Secretary of the Party cell, Director of Hanoi Museum highly appreciated results achieved by the Executive Committee in the past term in leading and mobilizing youth members to perform well tasks assigned by the superior. Young people played a pivotal role in youth volunteer movements and youth work; actively participated in charity and humanitarian activities. “In the new term, Executive Committee should strengthen the grassroots union organization, promote political, ideological, moral and lifestyle education programs for union members through campaigns, cultural, arts and sports activities. Striving to introduce & admit elite youth members to the Communist Party. Effectively participate in programs and activities of the unit and Superior youth union. Also at the congress, Ms. Vu Ha Phuong – Secretary of the Youth Union of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports highly believed and agreed with the report summarizing the union’s work and youth movement for the term 2019 – 2022. She also emphasized that the Executive Committee of Hanoi Museum should be more active in responding to youth movements of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports in the coming term. Youth union members of Hanoi Museum must be the leading force in implementing a civilized lifestyle in workplace, building industrial style, etc. Giving appropriate measures and forms in mobilizing union members to participate in activities of Youth Union.
