Cutting ribbon to open the Exhibition

The exhibition was the first event in a series of promotional and trade events to connect OCOP products and craft villages serving tourism industry under the Creative Design Center Development Plan, introduce, promote and sell OCOP products and products from craft villages associated with tourism in districts and towns in Hanoi city.

Exhibition of OCOP products and handicraft products from Phu Vinh rattan and bamboo craft village was held on an area of about 2,000m2, including display areas for new products, creative designs and craft villages; Central display area, and booths for businesses, rural industrial establishments, and rattan and bamboo artisans in Chuong My district. The exhibition introduced and promoted Phu Vinh bamboo and rattan handicraft products to the people of the Capital, giving businesses in Chuong My district the opportunity to access and connect with design activities for new product models that suit customer needs and tastes.

Delegates and a large number of people visited the Exhibition

The Exhibition aims to contribute to enhancing the value of handicraft products, OCOP products, craft villages in general and the bamboo and rattan industry in particular; build a chain of links from creative design, production, processing to product consumption in domestic and international tourist markets on the basis of preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of craft villages associated with community tourism activities, agricultural and rural tourism in the circular economy, thereby contributing to the implementation of the National Target Program for New Rural Development, spanning the period 2021-2025.
