On November 27, at the outdoor stage in the area of the Martyr’s Monument located on the pedestrian street of Hoan Kiem lake, the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports held the final of the modern dance competition “Young rhythm of life” – Hanoi 2022.

Attending the opening ceremony of the Final Competition were Ms. Tran Thi Van Anh – Deputy Director of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports; Ms.Vu Pham Thanh Huong – Head of Professional Management Department, Authority of Basic Culture with the delegates, dance crew members and a large number of audiences came to watch and cheer the competitors.

Delegates attended the opening ceremony of the Competition Final.

 The jury includes leaders and experts in art performance Ms. Mrs.

The modern dance competition ” Young rhythm of life” – Hanoi in 2022 aims to find talented groups of students in the community dance crews, highlighting the strength of group solidarity; creating a healthy, useful and civilized playground, meeting the entertainment needs, evoking inspiration, and promoting the artistic creativity of young people.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Ly Thi Thuy Hanh – Director of Hanoi Cultural Center, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest said excitedly: This is the first time Hanoi has organized a modern dance competition. The contest was widely deployed in districts, towns; high schools, colleges, clubs and dance crews in the community. There are 7 districts including: Hoan Kiem district, Tay Ho district, Long Bien district, Quoc Oai district, Ung Hoa district, Phu Xuyen district and My Duc district sent 8 representative dance crews to participate. Especially, the Culture, Information and Sports Center of Hoan Kiem District was the organizer of the competition. Its success is thanks to the sponsorship of An Khanh New Urban Development Joint Venture Company Limited; the attention and response of the Centers of Culture, Information and Sports of districts, towns, schools, universities, clubs and young people in Hanoi. It created a strong influence in the community. The contest contributes to promoting the cultural and artistic movement in the youth community in particular and the capital’s population in general.

The modern dance competition “Youth Rhythm Life” – Hanoi in 2022 attracts nearly 600 members of 33 dance crews in the city to participate. Members of dance crews are at the age of 15 and over, each group has 8 to 20 members. The final round is the competition among the 15 best dance crews. They brought a series of exciting, unique, attractive and interesting performances to young people and the audience of the capital. The contest upraised the young’s passion for dance and connected them to the community. It also gave guidelines, reflected optimistic thinking, positive lifestyle, and patriotism and was the chance for young people to exchange and learn, and express their aspirations and personal perspectives in the digital era.

Based on the final results, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 first prize to the HanoiX – Girls Nextzen crew with “Missy Elliot Tribute”, 2 second prizes to the W-Unit crew “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”, and the Theater Dance Vietnam (TDV) crew with “A New Day”. 5 Third prizes was award to to Last Fire Crew dance group with “Hiphop” , Baat crew – Bank Academy’s  team with “Dancehall”, Wonder Sisters crew with “Hihop Dance”, Revolution 2014 crew – Phan Huy Chu High School with the contest “Shake that-Uproar-Bap u-Good form”, the dance crewd from Ly Thuong Kiet High School (Long Bien district) with “New Journey”. The Organizing Committee also awarded 20 Thematic Encouragement and Encouragement prizes to impressive dance crews.

The dance crews that won the first, second and third prizes received additional prizes in the same amount of the contest price from the sponsor, An Khanh New Urban Development Joint Venture Company.
