Actively responding to the campaign “All people unite to build a new countryside and a civilized city”, along with the construction of infrastructure, for many years, Ung Hoa district has focused on implementing environmental criteria to improve the spiritual life of the people, building rural environmental landscape.
District people actively participating in general cleaning of village roads and alleys
The district has implemented the model of “Safe, bright, green, clean and beautiful residential area” and organized the contest “Keeping village roads and alleys green, clean and beautiful”. The models and contests have received enthusiastic support from the Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations from the district to the grassroots as well as the active participation of all classes of people. The communes actively invest funds and human resources to build model roads as highlights, with strong spillover effects, creating a clear change in people’s awareness. Up to now, in residential areas, there are no longer garbage and scrap on the roads. Every Saturday and Sunday, officials and people in villages, hamlets and residential areas organize general cleaning of village roads and alleys, planting and taking care of flowers…
The new rural look getting brighter – greener – cleaner – more beautiful
Implementing the model of “Safe, bright, green, clean and beautiful residential area”, all levels of Ung Hoa district Women’s Union simultaneously implemented the project “Green – clean – beautiful – flower blooming self-governing model route”. The Farmers’ Union also organized to improve the quality and replicate the “Clean field” model, turning garbage spots into flower spots. District Youth Union mobilized youth union members to participate in the movement “Volunteer Saturday, Green Sunday”, organizing campaigns on environmental sanitation, garbage collection, removing illegal billboards, planting trees, painting murals. Veterans Associations at all levels coordinate to take care of the flower roads, Veterans’ self-managing trees, keeping the village roads bright – green – clean – beautiful.
Up to now, the whole district has 370 sections of roads managed by women, 272 sections of flower roads, 29 self- managing roads that are green, clean, beautiful, flower blooming models… Funds for the implementation of the models are mobilized from the socialization source; the planting and taking care of trees and flowers are voluntarily implemented by the local People. The district has organized the acceptance test, tagging 6 district-level roads and 117 grassroots-level roads; drawing 98 mural spots with an area of 3,750m2…
In fact, the model of “Safe, bright, green, clean and beautiful residential area” in Ung Hoa district has achieved positive results. Many communes and residential areas of the district have been “put on new clothes” with clean, beautiful, and colorful roads full of flowers, contributing to creating a spacious, clean, and civilized rural appearance…
In the coming time, the district will continue to replicate and spread the model of “Safe, bright, green, clean and beautiful residential area”, contributing to building an increasingly rich, beautiful, civilized and modern district.
