Dream Plus Library is a project promoted by the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, cooperating to develop in the field of culture – education; building a space to enjoy culture and reading; supporting cultural exchange; transmission of information, academic life, to help improve the quality of spiritual life for the Vietnamese people.

 Dreams Plus Library is located on the 4th floor of the Hanoi Library.

Located on the 4th floor of Hanoi Library, Dream Plus Library covers an area of over 400m2. This is a cultural space, enjoying books for children with the primary reading room, preschool reading room designed with modern, attractive and eye-catching manner. In addition, the Library has more than 400 book types, including Vietnamese translations of many Korean literary works and many new Vietnamese literary works for young readers. In addition to reading books, the children are also exposed to Korean culture through music, movies …

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Seok Jin Yeong – Director of the Korean Cultural Center, said that from 2016 to now, the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has been cooperating with the Vietnamese government to carry out a project to support 14 primary, secondary and high schools nationwide to build small libraries, sending messages of active support so that Vietnamese young people can nurture, fulfill their dreams. “And our Dream Plus library inaugurated today is the 15th library in the framework of this project. I hope that the birth of “Dreams Plus Library” not only gives the children of Hanoi an environment to experience and develop freely but also helps them fulfill their hopeful dreams. I believe that by making their dreams come true, they will become the future owners of society, greatly contributing to the dynamic and strong development of Vietnam”- Mr. Seok Jin Yeong emphasized.

Also at the opening ceremony of the library, Ms. Tran Thi Van Anh – Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports affirmed that the project will be used for the right purpose and with high efficiency, to spread reading culture in the community to the opportunity to learn and experience socio-cultural activities for young readers of the Capital, at the same time, continue to expand cooperation between Vietnam and Korea.
