Objectives of the program are to coordinate with the specific objectives such as increasing the quality of publications and assisting libraries in building materials and activities to meet the needs of readers; developing reading culture in women, families, children and people in remote, mountainous, and areas with difficult socio-economic conditions through women’s societies, library system..

Objectives of the program are to coordinate with the specific objectives such as increasing the quality of publications and assisting libraries in building materials and activities to meet the needs of readers; developing reading culture in women, families, children and people in remote, mountainous, and areas with difficult socio-economic conditions through women’s societies, library system public; guiding parents, promoting the role of women in the family to arouse the passion and love of early reading of children; equipping reading skills and methods for children, pupils, students, women and people in general in the community;

On the basis of understanding the needs, readers coordinate to provide and support the construction of libraries, focusing on developing quality and rich information resources (books, newspapers, other publications), for the people’s lifelong reading and learning, especially for women and children; female students; enhance publishing work for contributing to helping readers to have skills to receive and use information, knowledge, healthy reading orientation, suitable to the needs and conditions of each type of audience.

To mobilize all social resources to support building and developing models of bookcases, libraries suitable for regional conditions, regions and local customs for women, children in particular and people in general to able to access and use information and knowledge at public libraries, community learning centers, communal post-cultural sites, bookshelves at all levels of women’s associations, publishing and distributing agencies.

Accordingly, the two parties will coordinate and implement well communication and mobilization of reading promotion among the people; build and promote the formation of a friendly and convenient reading environment, support women, children in particular and the people in general to access information and knowledge, and implement lifelong learning.

Besides, coordinating to implement activities to encourage the development of reading culture at the levels of women’s union, family and community, etc.; activities aimed at strengthening facilities, developing materials and organizing activities for research, learning and entertainment needs by people, especially women, children, and female students.

In addition, coordinating to organize reading promotion activities in the community, competitions, events, and prizes for reading culture, etc., there are forms of encouragement and support at all levels of women’s associations, communities, and private libraries, reading spaces, reading spots and individuals who do well in developing a reading culture in the community. To develop annual plans, implement and guide libraries and women’s unions at all levels to implement the Program.

Beneficiaries of this collaborative program, direct beneficiaries are women, children, students, female students and their families to arouse children’s love of reading early; build and maintain the reading habits of children and parents in the family; of the female students in the school; and of women at all levels of the Women’s Union.

Indirect beneficiaries: Women’s Unions at all levels, communities, state, locality and society to raise people’s intellectual level in the community, increase legal knowledge, cultural and spiritual life to be improved, local socio-economic development is sustainable, political security is guaranteed.
