Accordingly, the City’s Steering Committee for family and children affairs requested the Department of Culture and Sports to actively coordinate with media and press agencies to strengthen the communication of policies and laws on prevention and control of domestic violence; to criticize and condemn acts of violating the law on domestic violence prevention and control; to organize the training to improve profession and skills to the officials in charge of domestic violence prevention and control at all levels; to effectively organize and implement the network of domestic violence prevention and control in the city; to assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with relevant agencies in, collecting family database, including domestic violence prevention and control; to conduct the review and evaluation of “National Action Program on Domestic Violence Prevention and Control to 2020” in Hanoi City, proposing the City People’s Committee a new program.

The Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs takes the lead in receiving information, counseling and supporting children victims of domestic violence through Office 111, strengthening social protection for domestic violence victims.
The Department of Health coordinates with the Department of Culture and Sports, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to guide the People’s Committees of districts and towns to continue implementing the collaborators of population, families and children at the grassroots level.

The Department of Information and Communications directs and guides media and press agencies to increase the time and frequency of communication on domestic violence prevention and control, especially hotspots on domestic violence; to praise the typical examples making a positive contribution to domestic violence prevention and control.
City Public Security has developed and guided measures to prevent, detect and handle deterrence, educated to prevent recurrence risks and provided timely support to domestic violence victims; replicate the model of the team with rapid response to domestic violence prevention and control; considered proposes to amend and supplement regulations on administrative sanctions in the field of domestic violence prevention and control to improve legal education to domestic violence perpetrators.
People’s Committees of districts and towns direct localities to promptly and effectively handle local domestic violence hotspots. Arranging staff to do housework; building a contingent of the grassroots population, family and child collaborators under the guidance of superiors; defining the responsibility of the head of local government for domestic violence to occur; Timely commending and rewarding typical collectives and individuals who have made active contributions to domestic violence prevention and control.
Building database on families; continuing to research, replicating and maintaining models such as models of domestic violence prevention and control; the model of the Quick Response Team and other models of domestic violence prevention and control suitable to the actual local conditions; arranging funding to meet the requirements of family work; directing reports on the situation and results of domestic violence prevention and control in the content of reporting on socio-economic performance in the locality.
