Disseminating to the community
The emulation movement of studying and following Uncle Ho’s practical and specific actions has been implemented by the Women’s Union of Hoan Kiem district over the past years. The Women’s Union has encouraged its staff and members to save and help women to get out of poverty through the following movements: “Golden Week of saving for poor women and children in difficult circumstances”, “Keeping saving pigs”, “saving association”, or participate in humanitarian activities, charity, gratitude program, etc. Up to now, the said movements have been imparted to all women’s groups and associations, creating a pervasive power in the community.
The Women’s Union of Chuong Duong ward, Hang Ma ward has done a good job propagandizing and mobilizing the implementation of the model “Each family collects and classifies waste, ensuring hygiene and environment sanitation”. The proceeds from the sale of scrap are used to raise funds for the union, support the building or repair of Gratitude Home. The Women’s Union of Dong Xuan market encourages businesswomen to participate in charity activities at Hanoi Oncology Hospital, National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, and donate clothes to Hanoi Center for Disability and Orphan Sponsorship, and poor children in Ba Vi district (Hanoi), Lao Cai province, totaling more than VND 700 million.
One-stop Service Department of Hoan Kiem district is carrying out administrative procedures for people.
To spread widely the learning and following Uncle Ho, the Department of Education and Training of Hoan Kiem District has directed schools in the area to organize many extracurricular activities, meeting under the flag with meaningful scheme such as “We tell the story of Uncle Ho”, “Uncle Ho with his immense love”, “Ho Chi Minh – An example of will and energy”. The Department also directs schools to use documents “Uncle Ho and moral and lifestyle lessons for students from grades 2 to 9”, by integrating to lesson of subject Ethics, Civic Education and extracurricular educational activities, class activities, union activities. In particular, under the encouragement of the Education Department, primary schools have built 20 “Uncle Ho bookcases”, greatly contributing to the education of ideology, morality, and lifestyle for staff, teachers and students.
Making a change in ethical and lifestyle training
According to Hoan Kiem District Party Secretary Duong Duc Tuan, over the past time, studying and following Uncle Ho has become a regular and orderly work in the Party Cell’s activities and in the work of cadres and party members in the district. The Party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations from the district level to grassroots level have carried out studying and following Uncle Ho in a serious, methodical and creative manner, associated with the implementation of Central Resolution 4 at 12th session and annual work theme, contributing to the completion of district and grassroots level political tasks.
Study conferences have been effectively and innovatively held by Hoan Kiem district. The District Party Committee also directs the development of plans to follow Uncle Ho with specific and practical contents which is easy to implement, inspect and evaluate. The outstanding issues, especially in the management of construction order and urban order are paid great attention. Ethics and lifestyle of the young generation are educated, fosted, then inspected and supervised. Through the campaign of studying and following Uncle Ho, there have been many typical individual and collective examples in all fields, making a wave and creating confidence among cadres, party members and all classes of the people towards Party, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congress at all levels. Besides, the sense of responsibility of cadres and party members, especially key leaders at all levels are raised.

In the coming time, Hoan Kiem District Party Committee will strengthen the leadership and direction regarding the responsibility of the leader of each level in the implementation of Directive No. 05-CT/TW; continue to promote extensive communication and propaganda in various and convincing forms of annual scheme, associated with the anniversary of major national holidays and the Capital holidays; associated with patriotic emulation movements and propaganda on the implementation of tasks of branches, localities, agencies and organizations; focus on propaganda about good models, new and creative ways, typical collectives and individuals, the example of “good people, good deeds” in studying and following Uncle, thereby spreading good values in Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle.
