Over the years, to promote the creative and volunteer spirit of the youth, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in Tien Phong commune, Me Linh district has actively responded to movements and campaigns launched by the superior Union as well as closely followed local tasks, made many contributions to the implementation of socio-economic tasks, built cultural life and homeland to be richer and more beautiful and civilized, involved in propaganda and implementation of 2 Codes of Conduct of the City, green – clean – beautiful environmental protection; propaganda of the prevention and control of COVID-19 pandemic; giving gifts to students who overcome difficulties and study well, households with difficult circumstances; visiting and giving gifts to special policy-entitled families on July 27 and Lunar New Year…
Caring for the Martyrs’ Cemetery
Commemorating the 74th anniversary of Invalids’ and Martyrs’ Day, the Commune Youth Union has continued to have many practical and meaningful works, promoting the nation’s good traditions and morals “Drink water, remember the source”, “ repaying somebody for his favour”: involved in general cleaning of village roads and alleys; visiting and embellishing the landscape and environment of the martyrs cemetery; visiting and giving gifts to the families of Invalids and Martyrs who have contributed to the revolution in the area… At the Martyrs Cemetery, the Youth Union has cleaned and sanitized the environment; take care of trees and the martyrs’ graves very thoughtfully and carefully.
Giving gifts to special policy-entitled families
On this occasion, the Commune Youth Union gave 10 gifts (worth 500,000 VND each) to the families of war invalids, martyrs, and people with meritorious services… It is valuable that the funding for gift giving was socialized.
The activities implemented by the Youth Union of Tien Phong commune show the beautiful lifestyle of the youth, continuing the good traditions and morality of the nation. Thereby, it has the effect of educating and fostering revolutionary traditions, patriotism and national pride for young people joining hands and contributing effectively to the implementation of gratitude activities to the families of war invalids, martyrs, people with meritorious services in the area. Activities implemented by youth union members are associated with strict implementation of regulations on COVID-19 prevention and control.
