On October 17, the Women’s Union of Phu Lam ward (Ha Dong district) installed a signboard of the women self-governing flower road in Trang Cay service land in residential group 8. This work is to welcome the 16th Congress of the Hanoi Women’s Union, for the term 2021-2026, and the 91st anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Women’s Union.

The self-governing flower road with a length of more than 300m has been implemented by the Unit of Women’s Union in residential group 8 from mid-April 2021 with the following special tasks: planting 20 purple periwinkle flower tubs, making flower pots from more than 50 recycled car tires and hanging them along the road, planting moss rose, lantana, periwinkle, bougainvillea, etc.
After more than 5 months of implementation and caring, the flower road has well developed, creating a place with a lot of brilliant colored flowers. The project expenditure is more than VND 20 million, not to mention the man-days of members of the ward women’s union.
