The Party Committee of the Department of Culture and Sports won the third prize at the Contest of Good Reporters and Propagators in propagandizing the Resolution of the 13th Party Congress and the Resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term.

Dr. Le Xuan Kieu, Party member, Director of the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam represented the Party Committee of the Department of Culture and Sports to participate in the contest. At the 3rd Cluster round of the Contest with 19 participating units, Dr. Le Xuan Kieu excellently won the second prize and entered the top 3 for the Contest at the Party Committee level.

The entry of Dr. Le Xuan Kieu with the theme “Developing the cultural industry of Hanoi Capital in the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam”. The jury commented that this is one of the difficult topics to propagate, the candidates must be “courageous” to choose this topic. However, with careful preparation and presentation skills, Dr. Le Xuan Kieu won the third prize for the Party Committee of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports.

The content of the entry of Dr. Le Xuan Kieu consists of 3 main parts. The first is the view on the cultural industry in the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. The second is the application of the Party’s point of view in the Resolution of the XIII Congress of Deputies to develop the cultural industry of Hanoi capital. The third is to effectively implement Hanoi’s initiatives committed to UNESCO when joining the Creative Cities Network.
With the support of information technology, the entry of Dr. Le Xuan Kieu has created an attraction for the Jury as well as the entire Contest.
Over the years, special attention has been paid to the work of oral propaganda in the Party Committees of the Blocks of City agencies by Party committees at all levels, agencies and units. The team of reporters has been gradually consolidated, becoming an important force in propaganda, contributing to providing information, orienting public opinion, raising awareness and strengthening positions for officials, Party members, union members, members in city agencies, making an important contribution to the Party building work, building strong agencies and mass organizations, successfully completing assigned tasks.

However, in the current period, people’s intellectual level is getting higher and higher, social democracy is expanding and leading to an increasing demand for diverse, quality, timely and accurate information…, which raises increasingly high requirements for word-of-mouth propaganda and reporter activities of the Party Committees of Blocks of City agencies, especially during the period of accelerating the implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congresses granted for the 2020-2025 term with a new spirit of aspiration and determination.
Through the Contest, the contestants have promoted their intelligence, confidence, creativity, and expressed most effectively the content of their entries, applied knowledge flexibly, created attractiveness, attraction and persuasion to listeners and successfully completed the items, contributing their voice to the propaganda of the Resolution of the Party Congress at all levels.

The contest is a very important political activity to propagate widely among cadres, party members and the people the important contents of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress of the Party and the Party at all levels for the 2020-2025 term. At the same time, it contributes to consolidating and strengthening the people’s trust in the Party and the regime, fighting against false information and views of hostile forces, protecting the ideological foundation of the Party, making changes in method innovation, improving the quality and effectiveness of oral communication to meet requirements in the new situation and putting the reporter’s activities into the increasing order, and creates conditions for reporters and propagandists to exchange, learn from experience, improve their qualifications, capacity and presentation skills, promote the innovation of oral communication methods, and select the best reporters to participate in the City Contest.
