At the meeting, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Nguyen Thanh Hai said that right after the City People’s Committee issued two Codes of Conduct, the Department seriously implemented and issued resolutions and plans with many documents for implementation at the Department. Propaganda, dissemination and mastery in the party organization, a contingent of cadres, civil servants, public employees and employees, and both the Codes of Conduct of Hanoi city are strictly and effectively implemented by the Department. Results through many forms such as integrating in agency’s activities, contests of the beauty of office culture, online contest “Propaganda of the Codes of Conduct”… Inspection, supervision and urging the implementation has been focused by the Department every year. In particular, for the Code of Conduct in public places, the Department cooperates in propaganda, advocacy, combined with inspecting and urging the implementation of Codes of Conduct for individuals and organizations at trade centers, supermarkets and markets under the State management of the Department.

As noted by the inspection delegation at the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department has focused on maintaining a clean and beautiful working environment that is scientifically and effectively arranged; officers and employees strictly adhere to the regulations on uniforms and office cards… Besides, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi city Nguyen Sy Truong – Head of the inspection delegation also suggested that the Department pay more attention to the embellishment to create a more spacious working environment; green trees can be planted by mobilizing “one green tree for each officer” to decorate tables and offices accordingly; the Codes of Conduct in public places are supplemented and posted at an easy-to-observe position at the one-stop department as the contact point for people and businesses.
At the meeting with the Hanoi City Union, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi City Youth Union Nguyen Duc Tien said that in addition to seriously implementing the propaganda of the Codes of Conduct to officials and union members in the agency, the Hanoi City Union also concretized it by activities such as launching the movement of green office – green agency – scientific working corner, maintaining general cleaning every Friday… Hanoi City Youth Union is one of the units with the strong implementation of Codes of Conduct in various forms, with high frequency, application of modern information technology, social networks, etc. with publications of video clips, infographics and frames; regularly coordinating and interacting with more than 40 press agencies of the Central and City to promote the Codes of Conduct propaganda of the Youth Union to be promoted and deepened; directing affiliated press units to open specialized pages and columns “One good news every day, one beautiful story every week”, “Get the beauty to eliminate the bad”.

In addition, the propaganda and dissemination of the Codes of Conduct are also implemented by the Hanoi City Youth Union through the implementation of projects and youth’s tasks such as decorating and beautifully cleaning electrical cabinets and telecommunications cabinets with Codes of Conduct propaganda messages, environmental protection; “Turn the illegal landfill into a flower garden” work, “Youth flower street, mural” model which brought the people of the Capital a green – clean – beautiful living environment; Model “Friendly toilet” – a creative and practical model of the Capital’s youth in effective propaganda of 02 Codes of Conduct in the city… Especially, the model of mass and new-style weddings has been first organized by the Youth Union from the city to the grassroots in mobilizing Youth Union officials and members to seriously organizing wedding festivals and weddings which are civilized and inexpensive for rural youth and young people in industrial zones – export processing zones, etc.
In addition, the Hanoi City Youth Union has organized many activities to support the prevention of the Covid-19 pandemic such as implementing the program on helping students overcome Covid, “Million meals – Hanoi of love”, Chain “0-VND Mini-supermarket – Hanoi with heart”; program “Hanoi of gratitude – for children”; “Waves and computers for children”; digitizing the Union’s activities and supporting the installation and deployment of QR codes throughout the city, etc., activities to support people in difficulty during the pandemic, ensuring social security with the motto “No one is left behind”.
Head of the inspection delegation, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Hanoi, Nguyen Sy Truong highly appreciated the work that the Youth Union has implemented to concretize the Codes of Conduct into life, and at the same time, it has spread widely to the people through models. In the coming time, the inspection delegation also hopes that the youth union members will always be the pioneering force in the propaganda and implementation of 2 sets of Codes of Conduct. At the same time, the Inspection delegation also suggested that the Youth Union should continue to strengthen and create forms of propaganda and advocacy combined with inspection and reminder, contributing to improving the spread of the Codes of Conduct.
