A tight, gentle handshake when you are bewildered in the middle of a fork in the road… All bring people into a world filled with happiness, love and sympathy.

Or the book “Bright example of women preserving Vietnamese culture” is a collection of many articles written by many authors about mothers. Through this, we can see that Vietnamese women, despite being influenced more or less by foreign cultural flows due to their long periods of domination, still retain the very unique beauty of Vietnamese women, the beauty of Asian women. Each article is a true story, summarizing the life of the women they love, respect and also representing each Vietnamese woman with noble qualities, wholeheartedly for her family, for the country during the difficult years of bombs and bullets.

Besides, the book “Thinking & Sharing” is a collection of articles written by Ms. Ton Nu Thi Ninh during her past diplomatic activities and as a current cultural, social and educational activist. These are shrewd thoughts on contemporary issues. Thereby, she wishes to dialogue and share with the young generation, who are responsible for mastering the country’s destiny, but first of all, they need to control their own lives. This is not her autobiography, but it is “a current that emerges from my school days and grows through the stages of my journey, which motivates me to always think and share” as the author puts it. In other words, thinking and sharing is the red thread throughout the life and career of Ms. Ton Nu Thi Ninh.

The books are currently served at the Children’s Room, Reading Room and Borrowing Room of the Hanoi Library.
