In commemoration of the 79th anniversary of the establishment of the People’s Army of Vietnam (December 22, 1944 – December 22, 2023) and the 34th anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 – December 22, 2023), various artistic units in Hanoi are set to organize multiple performance nights to serve the people in districts and towns across the capital.

During December 2023, seven artistic units under the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports will organize specific performance nights as follows:
Hanoi Drama Theater will have a performance at the cultural center of Ung Hoa district on the evening of December 20, 2023.
Hanoi Cheo Theater will perform at the cultural center of Phuc Tho district on the evening of December 20, 2023, and at the cultural center of Dan Phuong district on the evening of December 22, 2023.
Thang Long Music and Dance Theater will host two performances on the evenings of December 19, 2023, at the Ba Dinh district center and December 20, 2023, at the Nam Tu Liem district center.
Hanoi Cai Luong Theater will present its first show at the cultural center of Ung Hoa district on the evening of December 21, 2023, and the second show at the cultural center of Dong Anh district on the evening of December 22, 2023.

Hanoi Circus and Variety Arts Theater will perform on the evening of December 21, 2023, at the cultural center of Me Linh district.
Thang Long Water Puppet Theater will have two performances on the evenings of December 20, 2023, at the cultural center of Hoai Duc district, and December 21, 2023, at the flower garden stage of Ba Kieu Temple, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi.
The City Cultural Center will organize two performances, expected to take place at the town center of Son Tay on the evening of December 20, 2023, and at the cultural center of Gia Lam district on the evening of December 22, 2023.
These meticulously staged artistic programs encompass various outstanding performances, including musicals, dramas, and more. The themes revolve around praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, and the love for the homeland and the country, with special emphasis on songs dedicated to the soldiers – the beloved soldiers of Uncle Ho and the era of the red flower. This aims to meet the diverse artistic appreciation needs of the people in the capital.
